JJ Peterka, 1 goal in last 11 games (albeit without Tage)

That rings bridge contract now, which is probbaly what he prefers so he can get the F out of there sooner than later.

Dunleavy and Ray are carrying a lot of the hype of the Sabres with their commentary. They aren’t playing THAT well, not even close.

Islanders are dictating the game, Sabres are trying desperately to lean on their transition game offense to create offense, which often dies at the blueline.
Remember who signs their paychecks.....

Honestly, Thompson doesn’t come close for me as a top line center for me. This is going to come off as blasphemy, but I’d look to move him. Aside from PP shooting, he doesn’t do much, turns the puck over trying to do too much, and isn’t physical.
Plus he seems to be as fragile and breakage as Zach Bogosian was.

Takes him a long while to return to his peak performance.

It's that the core are ALL dumb and aren't in position to make plays. I don't think it's a lack of effort ... just a lack of savvy play. Tage, Cozens, Tuch, Peterka are all out of their element where they are in the lineups. Most of these guys are middle six talents.
If you don't think this game was due to lack of effort I really don't know what to say.

Tage hasn’t missed more than 10% of a season in 5 seasons. Criticize whatever but this baseless thing I keep seeing about Tage always being hurt isn’t true lol
So Tage was just bad last year? It wasn’t because he was playing while still injured?

Is Tage bad right now? You’re an analytic guy go ahead and post his numbers. I can post his chart if you don’t wanna.

Guy played with a broken wrist to try and keep his team in it, we don’t like that now?

This is the guy we’re complaining isn’t a 1C. I’m good on this thread. See you guys next GDT

I didn’t say Tage was bad this season before he got hurt.

I think Tage is still too injured to be worthwhile playing right now. @5v5 tonight he had a 35.61% on ice xGF%

He’s a star 1C when 100% healthy. But how often is he 100% healthy?

First game this season that I have turned off mid game. This time it's a lot earlier than any season prior. This team and season feels like the same old and I'm tired of the same old.

seems misleading we generated almost zero offense in this game other than shots from downtown.
Actually no, that's exactly what is shown, the blue graph goes into minus showing that the attack was bad, and the purple graph shows the defense.
