Benson and the 4th line were the only noticeable players on the positive end for the most part.
no one wants our shitty contracts or problemsI tend to agree ... trade him to Utah or something. I'll go back to what I was saying last year and say, you absolutely cannot have Tage and Cozens as your top 2 C's. There has to be a change in these ranks badly.
Who cares? Look how he’s playing, Even when he was scoring he wasn’t doing anything else.He was tied for the league lead in goals before injury and still looks banged up.
Also well known Sabres players value is not high around the league. Can't make deal if no one wants your players either.
Remember who signs their paychecks.....Dunleavy and Ray are carrying a lot of the hype of the Sabres with their commentary. They aren’t playing THAT well, not even close.
Islanders are dictating the game, Sabres are trying desperately to lean on their transition game offense to create offense, which often dies at the blueline.
Plus he seems to be as fragile and breakage as Zach Bogosian was.Honestly, Thompson doesn’t come close for me as a top line center for me. This is going to come off as blasphemy, but I’d look to move him. Aside from PP shooting, he doesn’t do much, turns the puck over trying to do too much, and isn’t physical.
Ah yes...... the annual extended losing streak that takes the team out of the running for the play off. This is very likely to end up as a 5 game losing streak ... maybe 6
Tage hasn’t missed more than 10% of a season in 5 seasons. Criticize whatever but this baseless thing I keep seeing about Tage always being hurt isn’t true lolPlus he seems to be as fragile and breakage as Zach Bogosian was.
Takes him a long while to return to his peak performance.
To me it’s not so much the 3 game losing streak but how they played during it. Also, the powerplay is very concerning.Ah yes...... the annual extended losing streak that takes the team out of the running for the play off.
Predictable as the next sunrise.
New coach, some new pieces, same team.Back to Winning 3 then losing 3. Guess it's a little different since one of those was a OTL but man ,is this frustrating
If you don't think this game was due to lack of effort I really don't know what to say. It's that the core are ALL dumb and aren't in position to make plays. I don't think it's a lack of effort ... just a lack of savvy play. Tage, Cozens, Tuch, Peterka are all out of their element where they are in the lineups. Most of these guys are middle six talents.
So Tage was just bad last year? It wasn’t because he was playing while still injured?Tage hasn’t missed more than 10% of a season in 5 seasons. Criticize whatever but this baseless thing I keep seeing about Tage always being hurt isn’t true lol
Is Tage bad right now? You’re an analytic guy go ahead and post his numbers. I can post his chart if you don’t wanna. So Tage was just bad last year? It wasn’t because he was playing while still injured?
I didn’t say Tage was bad this season before he got hurt.Is Tage bad right now? You’re an analytic guy go ahead and post his numbers. I can post his chart if you don’t wanna.
Guy played with a broken wrist to try and keep his team in it, we don’t like that now?

This is the guy we’re complaining isn’t a 1C. I’m good on this thread. See you guys next GDT
seems misleading we generated almost zero offense in this game other than shots from downtown.
Actually no, that's exactly what is shown, the blue graph goes into minus showing that the attack was bad, and the purple graph shows the defense.seems misleading we generated almost zero offense in this game other than shots from downtown.
