I agree he could use a fresh start, but there’s no point to trade him while he’s still AHL eligible and his trade value’s down the tubes. Though i don’t know how long he has before he’s waiver eligible.

The whole first line/fourth line narrative had merit with some of the rosters the Devils had in years past.

This team is capable of rolling four lines.

Lazar has ZERO 5v5 shots. The guy has played well as a 4th liner and is a 4th liner. There's nothing more there. He doesn't deserve a 3rd line look.
