I was referring to Quinn + 9 for Beniers specifically. I think Beniers is more valuable individually than any of those pieces but I think Quinn and 9 is pretty good value if you think Quinn keeps progressing. Could see Buffalo not even wanting to do it.?
I'm very confident that Beniers has more value than any of those pieces, Bjorkstrand, the #9 pick, any of it.
I think he'd be closer to the #4. That's not saying he's all that great now, but he's a 22 year old with high pedigree, high two-way floor, etc...
FWIW I don't think Larsson fetches a top ten pick. Maybe something around pick #20, and that might only be at the trade deadline. His term will scare some teams away.

For Beniers I'd toss Power's name into the ring.I think Buffalo would trade a lot more than that to get Beniers.
I don't think he has that much more value than that. Maybe, especially for Buffalo. But Quinn is already close to Beniers production while being 1yr older that arguably has more offensive potential and another top ten pick is nothing to scoff at. We could probably get better value but it's not a bad offer I don't think.I think Buffalo would trade a lot more than that to get Beniers.
What’s the deal with Beniers? He hasn’t passed 45 points in a couple of years and is on a long-term big ticket.

I agree, I just think it's fair value. It's not really a trade I would make, but it could be a trade our GM would. For me, I have always advocated that I want extremely high skill guys back, and that's also why I've approved of a large amount of our draft picks. If we were to move Beniers I'd rather take a swing on someone like Rossi.22 year old solid two-way center who lacks finishing ability and doesn't have high end finishers to play with. If Seattle was to move him, you'd think Buffalo would be very interested. They need a "solid two-way center". Solid is not a word that can as easily be applied to Buffalo's pseudo-centers. And someone like Owen Power isn't solid at all. Same draft as Beniers and he's still a project.
I like Jack Quinn as a buy low candidate. He's the type of guy I expect to be moved for like a late 1st or 2nd rounder and I think could be a steal. I don't think teams will bid him up higher than that, even though you can make an argument that they should. For me his trade value doesn't greatly factor in to a trade for a Beniers level asset, it's more of a sweetener.

Not interested. Buffalo does not need Hofer and kyruo is not a need if Thompson and tuch are at RW. That's before you factor in cap issues.Blues offer our first, Hofer and Kyrou for McLeod and your 9th.
Calling Power a project is completely ridiculous he just got 40 points and doesn't get no.1 PP time22 year old solid two-way center who lacks finishing ability and doesn't have high end finishers to play with. He's also got no tenacity and is mentally weak on the ice, so many goals happen with him watching it happen and the play going on around him.Calling Power a project is completely ridiculous he just got 40 points and doesn't get no.1 PP time
mid-6 veteran winger with tread and a good 2 way game = Rust or Rakell. 9OA works as the main piece for me.RHD who is competent in the top 4 - leans heavier toward a defensive need than an offensive need.
Wouldn't sneeze at a mid-6 veteran winger with tread on the tire who plays a good 2-way game.
