Ryan Strome is a UFA this summer. Rumors and indications are that the Rangers will pursue signing Copp to a long term deal. Strome seems very likely to be a cap casualty.

Performed well as a 2C, but could be discredited for playing with Panarin so much.

What teams could you see going after him? How much on his contract?

I imagine he will be looking for a deal of at least 4 years.

If his number is 6 or less, I wouldn't be suprised to see the Leafs try and take a run while moving out Nylander.

I don’t think he gets more than $5m per on a longterm deal. 5/$25m. I think he’ll prioritize length over AAV. As a Rangers fan I see him as a low-end 2C. He’s kind of a one-trick pony. Not a bad player but if he’s not in the right situation I think he kind of vanishes.

Rightfully so... the guy was on the tail end of some really meh seasons before Panarin signed in NY.
