I admit I didn't watch all of the game against the Lightning... saw the first period then bits and pieces (including the terrible coaching goal against with the 4th line on), then saw the fight with Jeannot after the game online.

Stat line says Reavo was a minus 1, which is a shame. The energy and hits this guy brings is fantastic, and his "give-a-crap" meter is through the roof. That one shift in the first period alone was a thing of beauty with multiple big hits, and put a little giddyup in every other player on the bench. You can see how it affects the other team when they feel him bearing down on them. He's a scary guy to play against.

This guy BETTER be in the lineup for the playoffs. He can single handedly elevate the boys on the bench, and brings it every night. Keefe, don't be a bonehead, make sure this guy dresses.

Pagnotta is a pretty reliable source. And correct me if I'm wrong, but, Reaves is over 35, so this will likely be a "35+" contract. Meaning, that if he retires at any point during the contract, it will still count against the cap. Dear God. This better be for no more 1 mil per if it's true.
