Honestly, It's probably Lucic.Reaves no longer the king of the jungle, it seems.
Chara says hello from the thin air 7’ upHonestly, It's probably Lucic.
Do you think we could get a 3rd for him? Can't wait for how many of the very same Colorado fans who have been telling us how little value MacDermid has for their team jump on his bandwagon now that he has done this. If you folks still want him traded or sent to the minors, I am sure his value has gone up now.
I'd be shocked. Maybe a 7thDo you think we could get a 3rd for him?
Have you ever seen him fight? Someone like Reaves lands more punches in one fight than Chara has landed in his career.Chara says hello from the thin air 7’ up
Yes, perhaps more as the trade deadline closer and teams get a better look at their opponents if they make the playoffs.Do you think we could get a 3rd for him?
When has Reaves ever been #1 ahead of Lucic? To be number one you have to beat number 1. #75 has been #1 for a while now.
This was a big win for MacDermid. He get a decision here but it wasn't the most decisive of wins. He used his size, had Reaves turned around and took him down.
Chara or Lucic never fought Reaves yet. Both have been somewhat active this year. Ross Johnston or Delauriers likley rounding out the top 5.
That's just simply not true. I'd maybe rank Reaves ahead of him but Chara has landed plenty of punches. His balance in fights is pretty horrible tho.Have you ever seen him fight? Someone like Reaves lands more punches in one fight than Chara has landed in his career.
You seriously think they could get more than a 3rd for a guy who will be a healthy scratch in the playoffs?Yes, perhaps more as the trade deadline closer and teams get a better look at their opponents if they make the playoffs.
Colorado has the talent to defeat Tampa Bay should both teams make it that far. What Colorado does not need is their highly skilled leadership trying to offset the physical play of Tampa Bay's fourth line. Even if you have to move MacDermid to forward on occasion, his potential, even in today's neater and sweeter NHL, is worth the roster spot when you have as much skill with the other 17 skaters as Colorado does.
What a strange claim.Have you ever seen him fight? Someone like Reaves lands more punches in one fight than Chara has landed in his career.

Chara lands one punch = fight's over
Pretty much goes down early everytime, hard to rank him as a great fighter due to it imo. That's just simply not true. I'd maybe rank Reaves ahead of him but Chara has landed plenty of punches. His balance in fights is pretty horrible tho.
When has Reaves ever been #1 ahead of Lucic?
Reaves has been dodging him for years.

He's worth a 7th or maybe 6th round pick.
Avs haven’t played Calgary yet this year so MacDermid hasn’t fought Lucic this season. Maybe he did last year. MacDermid has only fought Reeves and Deslauriers this year.Ive never seen Reaves dodge him. Ive never seen Lucic dodge Reaves either. They just havn't fought each other. Last year I have Reaves over Lucic. This year Lucic beat MacDermid. MacDermid beat Reaves. I guess that puts Lucic #1 currently with MacDermid #2 and Reaves #3. Would round it up with Chara 4 and maybe Deslauriers.
Different era right now with these guys. If this was the 90's, or early 2000's these guys would have fought each other multiple times. Makes it tough to rank them. Probert Fought Domi like 9 times. Brashear fought Orr like 7 Times. Much larger Sample sizes for these guys. I'm going to do some research and try to come up with a legit top 10 for the Q1 of the 21/22 season.
