Canadian. He's from Newfoundland.Don't know much about him, but he's American and Mike Donaghy knows his Americans
I stand corrected.Canadian. He's from Newfoundland.
Played in the USHL is the key point, he was scouted by the Hawks head scout. Hawks are taking a lot of USHL guys, which is a point to being how often they scouted and saw them.. but maybe your other scouts can get a man on the table Donaghy.Canadian. He's from Newfoundland.
Very good freshman year so farLate '03 scoring at a point per game pace as a freshman for BU. Seems like he is one of the players who would have been part of the World Hockey Challenge had the tournament not been cancelled.
Will be interesting to track his development.
Just noticed that the game is also on ESPN2 (ch 209 DirecTv) at 6pm cst; i.e. ESPN+ subscription isn't needed, fwiwGoing to watch him on ESPN+ tonight when they play Harvard.

The Blackhawks appear headed towards another top-five draft pick. You’re teammates with Macklin Celebrini. What makes his game so special?
He’s just got a motor that doesn’t stop. He’s just got a bit of everything, like there’s nothing that he can’t do really. He’s so dynamic and overall, just such a good player. His skating is great, transition, he possesses pucks, he can win puck battles. He can kind of do it all. He’s been a good friend of mine so far this year, unbelievable guy, great teammate. So, I can’t say enough good about him. He’s been really fun to watch. He’s been great for us.
Davidson mentioned Greene, Dom James and maybe Moore (can't remember exactly) as guys that could be coming next at forward![]()
Blackhawks prospect Ryan Greene ready to turn pro after growing defensively as college junior
Greene's immediate focus is on Boston University's championship push, which was a key reason why he decided to return for his junior year. But the Hawks continue to be optimistic about his long-term potential.chicago.suntimes.com
Our guy @benpopecst who has been money all season, reporting Greene will turn pro after this season. For the ones who were a bit nervous about him staying in school then leaving.
