Well, that certainly simplifies things on that front for the Canucks.
But i'm not exactly heartbroken. He's probably going to get a regrettable contract, and also...if he doesn't want to be there, it's good to know ahead of time.

My guess is he wants to live somewhere on the warmer side. I'd be a little surprised if he signed somewhere like Minnesota for example.
