What does everyone think of this guy? hes top in rookie scoring this year so far in the whl.

He reminds me a lot of yakupov. They play a very similar type is game. He is small and needs to get stronger, but he is a natural goal scorer. I think that he would be a good mid to late round pick. He doesn't seem to think the game real well, but he has good skills. I would take a shot on him

Babenko got a hat-trick and two assists in the recent game against Saskatoon.

Since their game against Brandon awhile back he was on a tear but he was scratched last game against PA

Small overager, probably a late round pick.

I agree, 6-7 round. He is 19yrs old he is over aged for this draft (yes he can be drafted). He might go undrafted and picked up in over a year from now, on a amateur try out for an AHL team.

Impressive season but not sure I would draft him. Skating needs some work and while he's looks bigger than his listed 5'9, he isn't very tall. Should definitely earn a camp invite from some teams, though.

with 3 previous years of hockey experience. according to elite he started at 14-15

That site only goes back so far. You expect it have data for when players were like 10 and 12 years old?

If it's like you say it is, a player like Nolan Patrick has only been playing for 5 years.

He's played really well in the playoffs so far. Not only putting up points, but playing a complete overall game.

Will be curious to see if a team will give him a camp invite.
