I think this guy needs own thread. One of the best Finnish prospects from 2002 age group. Have did 37 points on 27 games on B-juniors (U18) (4th on points).

Here is his finnprospects scouting report:
Oliver Suni | FinnProspects.com

And eliteprospects profile:
Oliver Suni

And there is three full game on U16 National Team against Germany, Suni played with number 25. Other notable prospects were at least number 28 Roni Hirvonen, 18 Aatu Räty (2021 Draft), 7 Kasper Puutio, 3 Christoffer Sedoff, 13 Eero Niemi (2021 Draft) 21 Valtteri Karnaranta (2021 Draft).

Will be interested in seeing how he does in CHL, if only because we get more info when it comes to the Finnish u-20 league and OHL. We have some pretty good info with regards to how Finnish prospects tend to do in the Finnish u-20 league right after a u-18 season similar to Suni's. Hoping for a decent season for him. I think he could still be a riser with a good season.

Leading rookies in points through the first two weeks of the OHL season.

I'm always impressed when guys come over and quickly adapt, he will be interesting to follow this year.

Oliver is a heck of a talent, he has the potential to be a top 2 round pick for sure. Love the way he skates and handles the puck, can beat the D on the outside and drives the net, good shot and vision. Plays on a line with McShane and Tullio. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a first round pick.

watched him for the 1st time last week, was very impressed thought he was easily the best player on the ice for either side (it was vs Steelheads on 9-27) very interested to see what kind of season he has and where he goes in the draft.

The 44th overall pick in the 2019 CHL Import Draft, Finnish forward Oliver Suni made an instant impact with Oshawa Generals. He scored 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points in 43 games in his first year in the Ontario Hockey League. Prior to the season, Suni played for Finland in the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup. He put up three assists in three games, in what was a disappointing tournament for the Finnish team.

In 2018-19 Suni played for Karpat’s Under-18 team in the Finnish Under-18 league. He was an alternate captain. Suni scored 19 goals and 17 assists for 36 points in 23 regular-season games. He also added four goals and 12 points in eight playoff games. Suni also played for the Finnish Under-17 National Team. At the Under-17 WHC, he scored three assists in six games helping the team to a silver medal. Overall, he played 20 games for the National U17 team, scoring six goals and 16 points.

In 2017-18, he helped Karpat’s U18 team to third place and the U16 team to second place in their respective leagues. He had 46 points in 41 games for the Under-18s and 12 points in 4 games with the Under-16s.

Wow, so he did end up going undrafted. NHL network had him ranked 82nd.

will be keeping an eye on him, was hoping the Habs would pick him so we'll see how it goes for him in Liiga this year
