Has a history of being productive at every level he's played at. Arizona might have gotten a gem in getting him in a draft season where he missed some time with an injury. Will be curious to see how he does in the NCAA next year.
Traded to Waterloo. Big pickup for the #4th overall team in the standings right now. Waterloo is a pretty balanced team scoring wise but adding a guy who should be their go-to forward up front is pretty big.
Fairly unique player. Ugly skater, but gets around the ice fine. At his size, you don't worry about it too much. Deadly shot, heavy and accurate. Dangerous from anywhere in the zone.
Big loss for DU. I'll be interested to follow Matikka's progression.
