hope he will be able to catch the top 3 KHL pts leader super star Goldobin Gusev and Riley Barber :skeptic: .. slow down boys KHL is worst than AHL so keep it real

And Ovechkin, Malkin, Kucherov, Kaprizov, etc were likewise being outscored by Goldobin, Gusev, Barber level talents during their D+1 seasons too.
But who needs context when you can write "KHL is WoRSe THAn tHe AHL!!!!"

The same AHL where last season's top scorers were such top talents as Michael Carcone, Alex Barre-Boulet, T.J. Tynan, Chris Terry, Matthew Phillips and Rocco Grimaldi? Ok lol.
I believe this guys could easily produce 44 points in 66 games at least once in NHL. Aren't they?

Just missed 3 empty net chances during overtime while CSKA had the goalie pulled (Two were from Sochi's own zone)

Otherwise a quieter game. The point streak ends.

Probably the worst game he’s played with a Sochi. Oh well, come back stronger next game!

Poor game from him today. Not because he didn't put up points. The end of the game he was chasing that GWG and put it above the best interest of his team. He needed to get off ice. I think he knows that and I'm sure he feels like he let the team down.

Aside from that ending portion it was still not his best performance. CSKA definitely put a focus on eliminating his time and space. Great game plan by CSKA, but Michkov is going to have to learn to overcome this. He didn't play awful or anything. Still made a few nifty plays, but he just didn't make enough of an impact. Overall their whole line looked a bit out of synch. Hopefully this motivates him and he shows ready to make an impact next game.

I didn't say ceiling, I said potential. Kucherov's 128-point year is likely going to be his one and only Hart-quality campaign. It's not difficult at all to imagine Michkov being better than this.
He outscored prime Connor McDavid by 12 points. He's averaged a 116 point pace since 18-19 winning two cups and leading the playoffs in scoring both times.

Could Michkov be better? Possibly, but I don't know if he's got potential to be much better than Kucherov has been.

As I said, only one real Hart-level season. Piles up points, but not really year-in-year-out top-5 player. Michkov can be.

If were healthy, he absolutely would be a top 5 player year in and year out.

Only McDavid and Draisaitl have a higher PPG in the last 5 years.

I think it was pretty reasonable to try to score that empty net goal. If you are not going for it your opponents will just play 4 on 3 for whole period until they score and there are no chances for you to win at all.

Jagr would only report to Pittsburgh
Who cares? Lindros didnt want to play for Q, I believe organization is pretty good with outcome.

I think people are going to be disappointed if they think he has potential to be much better than Kucherov….development ain’t linear
If he will be just better than Kucherov or quite on the level with Kucherov, flyers fans will not be disappointed.

There's a difference between having one team you'd play for and one team you wouldn't play for. Look at Calgary's return for Fox.

You are making big mistake. Rights for american studetns and rights for russian players in nhl is a waaaaay different thing. Any team would have every time in the world for finding better trade option. Michkov didnt want to play in phily only. Its another false.

...what? I genuinely have no idea what you're talking about. We were talking about Lindros and Jagr.
