Cloutier is your prototypical small but offensively gifted forward - he stands at only 5’8” but has the speed and skill you need out of a smaller player if they have aspirations of NHL ice In the future.
Cloutier has a great motor, he is always buzzing around the ice not one to give up on the play. Like anyone his age, he’s going to need to put more effort into his defensive effort - but that’ll likely come in time. He should be getting good minutes for the Soo this year so he is poised for a big year offensively. We’ll see how things transpire going forward.
