Was curious to see a player from Quebec who played prep school hockey in New England playing at a point per game pace as a 19-year-old rookie in the USHL.

Anything to see in terms of future potential?

Should be drafted in 2024. 27 points in 31 games as a 19 year old freshman for Northeastern. Was over PPG for Cedar Rapids as an 18 year old coming straight out of minor hockey, thought he would have been drafted in the same range as Ryan Walsh or Ryan Conmy. Good re-entry pick target.

Remember, just cause a guy has flaws doesn't mean he won't have future value. He continues to produce as he moves up levels. Good prospect to have rights for and then either watch progress further or use in a trade package when you're going for it.

I've wondered if the Habs will try to sign his brother, Dylan I only saw once this season, he looked good but is small as shit so hard to say if he gets picked this time around.

Point per game as a freshman in the NCAA after a great one year stint in the USHL, yeah, he should go in the top 4 rounds. Outproduced Sharks 2nd rounder Cam Lund this year. I'm looking at the Sharks as a team to watch to potentially draft Hryckowian, but the Stars could be one to watch here as well, since they just signed his brother.

Hard worker, yeah. But for his size, he's not strong, not explosive, not very athletic, not very dynamic. I don't see it. Very smart, high compete, and there's production...so maybe someone likes him as a passion pick, but I don't see how he's gonna play in the NHL personally...

No-brainer college FA signing for somebody. His brother’s incredibly impressive transition to the AHL should give added confidence. Even if neither of them pans out into great NHLers, I can see them being premium AHL scorers for the next decade. Dylan is definitely more advanced at the same age, he will just need to continue to add pro strength like Justin has.
