Went completely undrafted in his OHL draft year then was the 2nd overall selection in the OHL’s u-18 priority draft - A draft that rarely provides teams with OHL level talent, let alone a potential NHL prospect.

Only 5’9” but has started the season off strong, 8points in 9 games for a weaker Saginaw squad. Late birthday so isn’t eligible for the draft until 2023.

I hope he gets drafted, could be a good story.

Kid is a heck of a player. Went to Saginaws pre season camps and have been following him. Problem is 5-9 is a generous measurement on him though and he has a small frame. Insane hands though.

Great motor and skating on this kid.

Could find himself selected in the late rounds, I’m hoping for a big season from the kid.

Nice little start to the season, it’s too bad Saginaw is one of the worst defensive teams I’ve seen in junior. hopefully they can clean that up as the season goes on.

GP-10 G-3 A-10 Pt-13. Good start 10th in the OHL in points. Kid has talent and is getting quality TOI. He is definitely part of a strong team in the near future. Loads of young talent in Saginaw.

Mangone has really underrated skills. Hes a solid skater, great hands and instincts. Hes small yes, but to be unranked in Central scouting's initial list is shocking to me.
