He's the example of why NTDPers who play down the lineup and don't produce should almost always go play another year of junior before heading off to the NCAA. He went to Madison, dominated, gained confidence, got a year older, and is now transitioning to SCSU quite well.

Whereas guys like Brady Cleveland went straight from the NTDP to the NCAA and struggled mightily.

I'm a quasi-believer in "player regens" because there are only so many player types really...everyone is a special snowflake and all that, but really, 80+% of players fall into X number of player archetypes. The fun thing (for me and no one else) is that Austin Burnevik basically extends my lease Carson Bantle...both are types of players I like to keep at the bottom of my list in case there's an extra 5, 6, or 7 kicking around.

This whole CHL/NCAA thing will benefit players like Burnevik, I feel...
