Dude has it. Has been playing center and it seems like a natural fit. Smart two-way player who can forecheck aggressively, active stick in passing lanes, good positioning to start breakouts. Quick thinker, scans really well when he anticipates the play is coming to him. Has a bit of passing skill, quick shot that should get better with some added mass. Only downside is a lack of real separation speed, but has some good edgework especially when defending the cycle in the defensive zone. Looks every bit the part of a shutdown center with room to improve the skill parts to his game.
