RW Adam Nemec - Nitra, Slovakia U20 (2026 draft)

38 points in 14 games. Leads the league in scoring by 10 points. 15 years old in top slovak U18 league.

5+2 today. 54 pts after 18 games. I've heard he had few training sessions with men's team. Seems like they dont wanna lose him in Liptovsky Mikulas.

We want more! Btw. how is he physical? Is he big, small, skinny, already build?
Based on eliteprospect he has 182cm (6'0") and 69 kg (152 lbs) so it seems he needs to build little bit but the guy is 15, he has still lot of time.

To be honest, I'm still not sure that Adam Nemec is a top prospect despite his incredible stats in the Slovak U17 league. His skating drags pulls down a lot, it's one of the reasons why he hasn't been a difference maker in the national team so far and has been rather average. I am very curious to see if he will stay in Slovakia. I think that Scandinavia would help him because of his weaknesses. I'm not sure if the same path as Simon's will work for him, i.e. Nitra.

Watching him play in the Five Nations Tournament and he looks really good in my opinion. He was moved to 1st line after his solid performance against Switzerland.

Unlike his peers he is playing for his team and often makes the boring but effective pass. He is also very good at gaining puck in board battles or when pressuring the opponent player.

I think he's good, but he's not as good as Simon. You have to start with that, and then if he amounts to a first round pick, that'd be a good outcome. His skating is weak, while his hockey sense is very good. The rest, pretty much seems ordinary (in a neutral way).

5 point game today, brings him to 26 points in 18 games in the U20 league. Personally I see him closer to a player like Chromiak, maybe harder worker and more aggressive.

2 goals in 7 games but I liked his play for the most part. Don’t see him as a high scorer but like everyone said here his game is built around the forecheck and battling in front of the net. Let’s see him next year, I hope Nitra would give him a third line role.

How is he progressing?
He was alright. Sometimes a good performance isn´t reflected into the scoresheet. Jake O´Brien from Canada (0 points in 5 games) or Adam Nemec (1 point in 4 games) are good examples I liked them how they looked on the ice but somehow they didn´t score. In my eyes, Nemec was our top 3 forward at HGC he was probably on pair with our scoring leader Chovan (6 points) regarding performances in the games.

definitely not the quality of prospect that was once thought. Should get drafted, but anyone saying anything more than that is lying to themself.

3 (!) points in today's preseason game for the A-team. Such a result would be considered impressive even for a "draft year" player, and Nemec still has 2 seasons left before the draft!
