The younger brother of Simon, currently leads the Slovak U18 league in scoring with 23 points in 8 games. Next top scorer has 16 pts in 8 games.

His team beat Kosice yesterday 5-4, he had 3 goals and 2 assists. Could spend significant time with the U20 team this season.

Filip Mesar at the same year (DY-3) had 47 pts in 47 games. Martin Chromiak 6 pts in 7 games.

Liptovsky Mikulas doesn't have a team in the U20 league. His options are either going to the U18 project, either Nitra will get him in their youth system or Scandinavia. Anyway, Adam is talented, no doubt about it. His only red flag is skating. In some of the games I've seen his skating has been really terrible.

Again, I´ll repeat myself but I have a feeling you underestimated him a lot. His numbers are exceptional whole his career. Although it´s probably true his numbers are better than he actually is in fact. But it can be said in this season he separated himself as a most promising Slovak prospect for 2026 draft so far.

He is very talented and interesting player to watch he needs to work on some things, but he is still only 14 years old so there is lot of space for improvement.
Also IMO he should be called up to U18 project

This Simons younger brother is really on fire, 3+2 today. Nemec is simply Nemec :)

Pobezal had a great season last year in this league (27GP, 32+16 = 48 points) in the same age but what is doing Adam Nemec here so far is really exceptional. Has a 30 points (17+13) in 10 games, he´s still 14 and leads stats in U18 league in every category by a large margin. No one that young in this league produced similar numbers as young Nemec so far and his game is apparently improved too.

It is actually more U17 league than U18 but still very impressive stats for his age.

U16 league on eliteprospects is actually U15 league. This is still U18 league according to age but compared to last year there was more 2004 players than this year 2005 players. So I mostly agree.

Very nice. But how was the quality of opponents teams? There was a massive exodus of top young Slovak players to Sweden and Finland in the summer.

Like it was mentioned here. Quality of U18 league is solid, just a little bit weaker than in previous years but still very comparable.

In contrast with U16 league because what you see on eliteprospects like U16 league this season is actually U15 and it's not comparable with previous years. I mean that's how it is.

30 PTS in 10GP at 15 in the U18. my god.

Tobias Tomik was seen as the top 2026 guy from Slovakia and a possible top 10 prospect and he only has 12 PTS.

can he even play in U20 at his age? Seems like U18 isn't much of a challenge for him.

I think, its possible.
Here are the rules.
- Player born between 1.1.2006 and 31.08.2007, who plays in U18 league (dorast)
- Player born between 01.09.2007 and 31.08.2008, who plays in U15 league (starší žiaci)

But, here is the catch. He was born october 2007 and plays in U18 League... I think, that is not a issue, but who knows...

There is another issue - Liptovsky Mikulas plays only second junior league.

I can imagine, that Nitra will do exactly what they did with Simon. Catch him, feed him and move him to NHL.

whats up with all these slovak prospects nowadays lol happy for the country and great for the sport

Please, dont look to Slovak junior and lower statistics.
Ok, you may look, but hold your breath.
That simply isnt a point of comparison with other prospects. Lets wait until they play at least in Finland or Sweden U20 leagues.

Why Sweden or Finland? Adam would like to stay in Slovakia, just like his brother.

I mean generally. There are many many Slovak players now in U18 Sweden and U18 Finland. SOme of them were very productive in Slovak U18, but there... lets say, they must work hard.

Interesting prospect, up thread someone mentioned that he isn't a great skater but I haven't seen him play and it's hard to tell from these clips.

As he plays better competition or at least tournaments we might get a better idea of what we have here.
