lol at Crosby and ovechkin in the pictures with Bouwmeester too. Not one of them are actually playing.

Edit I guess you can kinda see Duchene so +1 but minus one for Thornton and Malkin.

All hell is gonna break loose - I think it will be an awesome game! Let's get ready to rumble! The classic showdown is upon us :).

Matchup Vlasic and Parayko against the Kucherov line.

That Russian D can be exposed by a wave after wave forecheck and nonstop pressure on them. Guys like Simmonds, Schiefele, and Konecny need to play physical and punish the D every chance they get. Other forwards use their speed to be quick on pucks.

If we can get rolling our Canadian wave after wave attack the Russian D as a collective group can be exposed and eventually break.

Key for Russia will be to stay out of the box. I saw Kuznetsov basically loose the game for his team vs. USA. Dumb penalties.

Canada will need to stay disciplined when the Russians get dirty.

I didn't like Canada's intensity for the Germany game. Somehow it felt like a training camp game. I'd love to see some big hits on the Russian forwards today!
