Fully healthy team, I'd run:

Hyman - McDavid - Kapanen
Kane - Draisaitl - Podkolzin
Skinner - RNH - Arvidsson
Janmark - Henrique - Brown
Perry, Ryan

No need for TDL adds up front, just give them time all year to gel

Hyman-McDavid-Kapanen
Podkolzin-Draisaitl-Podkolzin
Kane-RnH-Skinner
Janmark-Henrique-Brown

Would be fine as well. Will be interesting once everyone is healthy. I personally can’t see them running RNH/Henrique as the 3c/4c though

I mean the guy had 24 goals and was hurt all year. Not sure what the heck people expect anymore
I guess. My post wasn’t a criticism of Kane but whatever.

Ty Emberson is fitting in very well. There's a lot of talent there and he's just scratched the surface in terms of his 2-way game. He has a good first pass and he's underrated when it comes to penalty killing and hitting. He played around 20 minutes last game.

You said he didn’t fit, and I’m asking what you expect a guy to look like. A guy that needed surgery

Well he was better than Stecher or Dermott. Please don't turn this into an argument you usually have with me. I'm stating my opinion nothing more and I'm not trying to go against you.

Stetcher is actually better at breaking out than Ceci.

Ceci is at his best on the PK and limited kinds of net front battle.

Stetcher was actually really good last night for the Oilers, helped create the Podkolzin goal and was making plays out there.

Yeah he was actually good last night. But, over the long term, we need a replacement there. Our eventual replacement there, in my opinion, is most likely Emberson/Wanner/Akey

I don't see how Jeff Skinner fits in this lineup when Evander Kane comes back
I don't see it either. He's behind RNH, Pod, Kane and Janmark on the LW depth chart. Even Kapanen is more trusted then him in the top 6 on RW. I guess he's a good depth option in the playoffs if any winger gets injured.

Lol all right I'm wrong about Ceci with the transition game. I miscalculated on that. But Broberg definitely helped with it at least in the playoffs. Am I the only one who thinks we still need a Dman in our top 4 lol?

Stetcher played a whale of a game last night but nothing in his career suggests it’s sustainable. We can only hope it lasts (and stays healthy) until Bowman decides to make a move.

I don’t see J Skinner wanting to be sitting around as a healthy scratch for depth. Even though he has an NMC, if this keeps up I see him gone at the TDL

We don’t have a clue what it will be like once Kane is back. 2 weeks ago Kapanen was on waivers and Podz had like 1 point. Lines change, players go through ups and downs.

I like these lines. Though I think he will leave RNH with McDavid and play Hyman with Draisatl

I was about to say I’m pretty sure Coffey likes puck movers and it’s one of the reasons we dumped Ceci and VD.
If a Dman can’t make plays we flat out don’t want them. Pure shutdown is obsolete. Need a guy that can break out the puck plus do a bit of wheeling in the o-zone.

Kevin Lankenen, a last sort of ditch effort signing at 850K, is 10-0 on the road and breaks a record....Stealing a lot of games or keeping them in it.

Honestly, Demko coming back isn;t even some great plus for them if he keeps it up.

It's just like in the playoffs when Silovs kept them from losing in 5 or 6, they would have won with Demko. Even though Silovs was playing out of his mind the whole playoffs. Broken, worn out Demko won't be an upgrade.

We are cloning Podkolzin! :sarcasm:

I'm assuming that's Arvidsson haha but unfortunately our team needs to ice a right handed center, they've been doing it ever since that Chicago series in tbe bubble.

Emberson would be perfectly fine as our 3rd pairing guy. He is 100% delivering on that billing. We just need help a little farther up the roster.
