Yeah, his cost and play is very concerning, so I wouldn't give up much for him, but I trust he has a higher level he can play on a team that's not complete trash. Remember Dallas Eakins coached that team for much of that time and Remember Dallas Eakins lol.

Again, it's not comparable (he also really wasn't for chunk which is why the Flames were bad), only one of these 2 teams was coached by Dallas Eakins for multiple years. Eakins might be the worst NHL coach ever.

Gibson at 50% wouldn't be the worst thing IMO. All of the losing has to have worn on him over time. Maybe a change of location and looking forward to layoff hockey could spark him to become a really good goalie again?

Skinner is currently 75th.

Talbot and Vejmelka are the only somewhat realistic names in the top 15 right now. However, Blackwood and Soderblom sit just outside that grouping and you’d think they would post slightly better numbers on a better team (even though GSAx tries to remove team effects as much as possible, there is less room for error on bad clubs).

We either need to make a move for one of those four, or hope Saros is so enticed by the chance to play with Ekholm and RV that he demands a trade here. I don’t believe in miracles though so Bowman better have a week-long Snap streak going with Chicago, San Jose and Detroit right now.
