All his teammates everywhere he's played say the complete opposite.
Sorokin.Dobson is back tomorrow.
Even without Dobson [as in still injured], Sorokin himself can steal games
That should have been Skinners spot all season. You think the goal scoring winger they signed in free agency would be given a shot next to the best playmaker in the league.
Holy f***, is that his only fall back solution? No, Bob. We are out of patience. We have two generational superstars on this team and they still do not have a #1 starting goalie after 10 years in the league.Pierre Lebrun said he thought the Oilers were only going to add a depth piece a month ago. Now, he has no clue. He is asking what the priority is now. Both Stauffer and Lebrun, now say they do not know.
But Boob is now disgustingly defending Skinner. Preaching patience, bringing up Roloson as a comparable. Disgusting
Patience lol we are in our cup window.Pierre Lebrun said he thought the Oilers were only going to add a depth piece a month ago. Now, he has no clue. He is asking what the priority is now. Both Stauffer and Lebrun, now say they do not know.

Waiver pick ups literally have nothing to do with us getting a goalie…Bowman hard at work picking up all of the waiver players even if he's already waived them. How in the eff did he get this job? Feels like the worst GM we've ever had. Gifted 2 of the best players in the world after a game 7 loss in the SCF. Just need a goalie, can't even do that.
Skinner is think is too slow slow for mcdavid. I thought Skinner would of been prefect for drai but they won't give it much of a chance and keep forcing Arvidsson with drai. That should have been Skinners spot all season. You think the goal scoring winger they signed in free agency would be given a shot next to the best playmaker in the league.
Always having temperature tantrums on the ice.All his teammates everywhere he's played say the complete opposite.
Adding him for the playoffs is the risk, for the reasons I mentioned. You really don't want to be the team that discovers your deadline goaltending add really is just a mediocre backup that was having a career season in a cushy situation while you're in the middle of the playoffsSure, but I'm not signing him to a 5 year extension.
I'm adding him for a playoff run.

He was saying that yesterday too. Imagine preaching patience in a cup window.Pierre Lebrun said he thought the Oilers were only going to add a depth piece a month ago. Now, he has no clue. He is asking what the priority is now. Both Stauffer and Lebrun, now say they do not know.

Speaking of Zito, he was interviewed for the Oilers GM position. Holland came on the scene and immediately the Oilers wet their pants. Zito had a shit team and won a cup. Holland had the best two players and had the same holes in year 5 as year 1. The irony of the Panthers beating the Oilers in the finals nags at me. Where the Panthers started and ended. Imagine giving Zito 97/29 to start withPeople here keep saying McDavid is hurt, why doesn't he go on LTIR? Tkachuk is already out of the season and Florida is going to abuse his cap and so is Vegas with Theodore.

I'm reading (mainstream media so beware) that Binnington to the Oilers is a real possibility but I don't see how the Oilers can manage this without trading the Skinner contract. I guess retention by the Blues would be the only real option? I don't follow it as much as you guys. Would the Blues really trade him?Skinner couldn’t even hold Roloson’s jock. That’s laughable
Bill Zito: acquires players like Verhaeghe, Bennett, Forsling, Montour for cheap or even for free. Ken Holland: traded 2 2nds for AA and somehow not only didn't get a high pick back to take on the Duncan Keith cap dump but actually gave up picks. And that's not to mention the absolute franchise killing moves like the Campbell signing, the Nurse RFA situation botch, and trading a 1st for a non-NHL caliber player in Henrique. Zito had some shit moves like the Chiarot trade and Holland had a few good moves like the Ekholm trade and the Kane signing. But the gap in their ability to build depth and find talent for cheap is absolutely comical. One guy is getting impact on-ice players for little cap hit/trade capital while the other is paying a premium for... character???????????Speaking of Zito, he was interviewed for the Oilers GM position. Zito has a huge advantage of being the GM of a team in Miami and a tax free state. Players didn’t want to start coming to Edmonton until this off season after we made the finals. Florida will always have an advantage attracting players even if they’re a bad team. You switch GM’s 5 years ago and the results are probably still the same.Bill Zito: acquires players like Verhaeghe, Bennett, Forsling, Montour for cheap or even for free. Yeah man I'm sure taxes are why the Oilers traded a 1st round pick for Adam Henrique and why the Panthers got Gustav Forsling on freaking waivers.Zito has a huge advantage of being the GM of a team in Miami and a tax free state. 31 other GM’s passed on Forsling. No one expected what he would become when he was on waivers.Yeah man I'm sure taxes are why the Oilers traded a 1st round pick for Adam Henrique and why the Panthers got Gustav Forsling on freaking waivers.
