I've wanted them to sign Stecher as a cheap RD since he's been bouncing around a bit, so I'm pretty happy with his addition as a depth D.
For the 100th time Kesserling requested a trade. He felt our depth was too much and he would never play here.
Who cares what Kesselring wanted? His rights belonged to the Oilers. What was he going to do, refuse a recall if he got a chance? Not sign an RFA deal and just sit his career out?For the 100th time Kesserling requested a trade. He felt our depth was too much and he would never play here.
Or a miracle…A +5 in 47 games on Arizona is talented lol.
He can move the puck, that's always good with this group of forwards.A +5 in 47 games on Arizona is talented lol.
Oh the irony after dealing a bigger better right handed shot in Kesselring
Yes he would have refused to sign much like Reider and that forward we shipped to the canes did (can’t remember his name Riley Nash I think). If he didn’t sign he would have either gone back on the draft or been a UFA. This exact thing happened with Lombardi and Stoll as well. Both refused to sign and ended up on opposite teams after going back in the draft.Who cares what Kesselring wanted? His rights belonged to the Oilers. He looked decent with Vancouver from what I remember but this isn't a Ceci upgrade
I don't think that was an option for him, he was already signed.Yes he would have refused to sign much like Reider and that forward we shipped to the canes did (can’t remember his name Riley Nash I think). If he didn’t sign he would have either gone back on the draft or been a UFA.
Follow Jordan Schmaltz on Twitter. He is on fire this morning.
Can retrieve pucksI think he's a Ceci side grade - but one thing I'll note is I probably play Stetcher over Ceci because he has less of a tendency to cheat forward for offense.
That drives me nuts about Ceci. He makes higher risk reward plays like that and they're always awful - all risk no reward.
I get it that he's a good skater but like man... Hands / Shot / passing of stone.
Are you thinking Marino? Can you provide me with a report of that? For the 100th time Kesserling requested a trade. He felt our depth was too much and he would never play here.
hopefully 50% retainedStecher and a 7th to us for a 4th per Friedman.
Yeah Ceci's puck retrieval is horrendous. I really do think Nurse would look so much better with a mobile puck moving D that doesn't get them constantly hemmed in.Can retrieve pucks![]()
Kesselring was already under contract for the Oilers. He played 2 years for our AHL team. There was no going back into the draft.
