"Murchison is an extremely raw as a prospect and would be a complete project for a team. He will need to harness the
natural ability he has and fix his issues. Murchison has chosen Arizona State University to continue his development this
coming fall. He was also selected in the 3rd round of the 2018 WHL draft by the Portland Winterhawks. Whichever path
he chooses, he will need to work on developing his hockey sense and rounding out his game in all areas."
ASU is not a great place to develop as a hockey player, and yes I know they are D1, but really. If he goes to Portland at least there is a little chance. I doubt he is a real prospect though.
I actually agree with that, just think that Portland would be slightly better than ASU. The reality is I don't think he becomes anything at ASU. Another college? Maybe, and I would definitely prefer he goes the college route if it was elsewhere. You can wait five years for a late round pick, which is why I prefer the college route, stash him there for a few years and see if he develops without wasting a contract slot.

Yes they seem elated. I’m rooting for the kid.The celebration was pretty cool, too. I don't know how that compares to other such moments but the family/friends seemed thrilled.
DEFENSEmanSubtract some exhibition games, and Murchison hasn’t hit double digit points in a season since he was 15.
Brent Flahr has a type.
He does this every few months. This guy has to be trolling
Who is this dead person? I don’t see himDEFENSEman
It's their job to play defense. You need guys to CYA to pair with those small offensive dmen. Plus, he will be cheap for a long time with those low point totals.
