It isn't a nepotism pick. Knuble has nothing to do with the Flyers other than canceling many a PP back in the day. He works for Detroit. I'm sure this is a valid pick that has nothing to do with Knuble.

I'm not convinced that Michkov falling to them didn't embolden them to take chances like trading into the 2nd round to take a goalie.
