The Battle of Ontario is over and little bro is going to bed with no dinner tonight. I do have to give a lot of credit to the Sens though - that was a razor thin series after looking like a blowout.

For me I'm giving the series puck to Stolie. A couple scary moments and head shakers, but it's no coincidence that his best games ended up as Leafs wins.

HM goes to Berube. That rope a dope is not going to fly vs Florida but it shut down the Sens pretty darn well.

Actually HM goes to Benoit, who am I kidding. What a freaking beautician that guy is. Big hits, lockdown D, and some unexpected OT heroics.

Edit - somehow I forgot to include Knies as an option, that has been rectified. Patches added too for the series clincher. Def not Stolie. I'd argue JT was the most consistently good the whole series and most noticeable, while Nylander had the big moments again and led scoring.

Every player has strikes and bonus mics on them.

Mitch came out hot and faded, again, but was mostly great on the PK.

Matthews only got two goals but held it down with the physicality, faceoffs and two way play.

Willy was big this game but a little disengaged games 3-5.

Benoit 2 OT points.

Knies who isn't listed for some reason was the only consistently positively noticeable player on his line.

JT got numbers and won draws, also took some stupid penalties and held the puck too long.

Stolarz was fine - not amazing, not bad but fine, workable.

I'd probably have to give it to Willy for his play tonight.

I think Knies for me. Tanev and Benoit deserve credit though.

Panthers are going to be a huge hurdle. It's going to take huge performances from Stolarz, Matthews and Marner.

Definitely need to clean up zone exits. A better team like Florida will capitalize more often than not

Support the puck carrier, no blind plays through the middle, and if you're gonna flip it out, make sure it's out of arm's reach

My one big beef with Berube - going in to tonight's game, Marner's playing about 3.5 minutes more per game than Nylander. That's just stupid, you'd think Keefe is still coaching this team.

Get your head out of your ass Berube. Nylander's a stud, give him a few more shifts!

The benefit of winning your division is you can get away with not playing your best in the first round. Closer series than it should have been but hopefully they have more good games left in them than bad games. Ramp it up it's time for a run!
