They changed their minds and are allowing 550 frontline workers. Free tickets and they get a jersey.

Let's hope the Leafs give them a show, at least.
Contrast that with Montreal where people were paying thousands for the tickets :ha:

Leaf fans are known to sit down to pee.

Difficult to do when your hands are full :sarcasm:

I f***ing hate the team and it's stars right now but the whole 'Marner's afraid of contact' is such a bullshit narrative.

It's actually a pretty plainly obvious narrative. He doesn't like to be hit. He won't go to the areas where there's a price to pay. He won't go in the corners. He pulls up. He hears footsteps.

I truly don't know how you don't see this. I can't believe there's any debate on this topic. Matthews and Hyman have no issue going to the dirty areas and engaging physically. Marner, quite clearly, does have an issue and simply isn't doing it.

JT has made tens of millions of dollars and has the best medical treatment money can buy, he doesn't need anyone winning anything for him.

Yeah, you don't the puck on your stick as much as Marner if you're afraid of getting hit.

His issue is trying to force plays that aren't happening. If you actually watch, you'd know.

Both are not mutually exclusive. I agree he does force plays and he forces the pass 9/10 when he's in the slot and it fails most times as seen during this series. I watch the games, thank you for your concern.

If you truly believe he doesn't shy away from hits instead of making a play, I don't know what to tell you...

I'm not saying take a hit to take a hit, it's smart to avoid them but when you have the option of making a play, especially comes playoffs time, you have to take it.

If Matthews and Marner combine for 10 points in a huge blowout victory will they be re-embraced by Leaf fans?

I'll be happy if they combine for 1 goal. 10 points..won't happen. It would take a massive performance now and then against Winnipeg for them to be re-embraced.

Watching MacKinnon take over the game yesterday, makes me wonder where the rocket winner and his running mate are when the chips have been down this series. Time to pull up your socks and earn your 11M contracts you demanded.

Excited/Nervous/Anxious all the emotions leading up to 7 o’clock. I’m sure it’ll be a great game.

They have been getting it pretty bad. Or well Marner has. attacking his personal social media accounts. Hate leafs fans.
I'm just extremely disappointed in Marner and Matthews. not even mad. or well I am a little but Ill get over it.
If they lose I just don't know what could be done to help fix the problem.
I'm going to completely stay away from bashing or singling out players. I'm going to hold the entire team accountable if we lose.

Should have closed it out by now, I'm shocked after going 3-1. makes me feel like we already lost before the puck even dropped.
