Weirdly, for as much heat as Marner's taken, I think he's played very well across all three zones and generated a ton of chances. He and Nylander have been the best forwards on either team, in my view.

Based on your earlier stat, it could be argued that Thornton stays in the lineup because he's scored as many goals in this series as Matthews and Marner combined.

I can't believe because of the Americanization of the NHL we might have to wait forever until another series.
