I have nothing but respect for Leaf fans (my 2nd team). They’re nothing like... ugh, Oiler fans (sincere thanks to the Jets for wiping them out).

I hope Bergevin and Ducharme are OUT, regardless of tonight’s outcome. That said, something tells me by seeing my team even reach Game 6 might have made that unlikely...

Either way, win or lose, it was fun. Let’s make tonight’s game epic.

I hope that Marner is feeling a lot of pressure with knowing he's on a 65 million dollar deal with 0 goals in his last 11 playoff games.
Why do the Maple Leafs keep dressing Joe Thornton? He's been terrible.

I can't for the life me understand what he's doing in the lineup and even more puzzling is why on earth they have him out there on the power play.

I don't get it.

I imagine it's because he has scored as many goals this series as Matthews.

Weirdly, for as much heat as Marner's taken, I think he's played very well across all three zones and generated a ton of chances. He and Nylander have been the best forwards on either team, in my view.

The 1st round was not VAN’s bugaboo

That is true, but Chicago definitely was. As a Canucks fan I don't think I've ever been more nervous for a game than I was for that Chicago game 7. I feel for the Leaf's fans tonight. The fallout will be biblical if they somehow don't manage to get it done this time.

Bookies are still giving great odds to bet on Montreal. Sure, I'll take your money good sir. Thanks for playing.

Based on your earlier stat, it could be argued that Thornton stays in the lineup because he's scored as many goals in this series as Matthews and Marner combined. :help:

I can't believe because of the Americanization of the NHL we might have to wait forever until another series.

It's such a shame Canadian teams have to waste years playing American teams. Series between Canadian cities helps the game grow so much in our country.
