the only person you should be rolling your eyes at is yourself.

Let me get this straight...because a certain player's performance does not align with your narrative of hating on the Leafs hype machine....you want to view it conveniently until you can discredit it?

He literally kept the Leafs alive for 2.5 periods last game while his team did nothing. He's let in less goals, has a better save percentage and has more than held his end of the bargain. What is your problem with him? Just because you want to believe that Campbell is another example of the Leafs overrating players does not mean you have to discredit him. If he performed worse than Price it would be about Leafs goaltender not being up to par. And yet when he performs better or at least plays really well it's about twisting it so you can agree with Philadelphia fan about how in reality he sucks?

Seriously I get Leafs fans can suck but sometimes you guys can too. We've already accepted the game 7 loss, no need to hate on us for liking one player who's held his end of the bargain all season. He deserves all the praise he is getting.

I didn't hate on anyone; you need to give it up with this victimization horseshyte and actually read my post...one word; context...as in the narrative that Campbell has "outdueled" Price, which is ridiculously untrue...yes, Campbell has played well, never said he didn't; but to say that he's outplayed Price by playing "well" while Price has been the only reason Montreal made it past 4 games in this Series is disingenuous at best...whether it's viewing the stats like high-danger chances or just by, Jebus forbid, watching the games, it's plain to see that Price has been the only reason this Series is still going on...and that is all my post said...context...do you ridiculously over-react all the time or is this just "having a moment"??...

Yep, the leafs are big time favourites tonight.
Habs have no goalscoring game breaking ability. In a 7 games series, this should be the difference. I suspect it will happen with Matthews this evening.

I get what you're doing though, I'm the same. If Leafs lose, you get to say you were right and if they win, you're just happy they won. Plus perhaps you're a little bit supersticious as well? Underselling the Leafs as a kind of reverse jinx thingy? Anyway, to me and to pretty much any neutral fan (which I'm not, of course), the Leafs are huge favorites even in a game 7. I suspect Matthews and Hyman get 2 each.

Imo we will know how this is going to go after the first 10 minutes. If the Leafs come out on fire I think they win no matter how Price plays. If Montreal comes out like they did the last couple of games hitting everything that moves and carrying the play while the Leafs look tentative then I think Montreal takes it.
The bottom line is that I wouldn’t be surprised by either a Leaf blowout win or a closer Montreal win. Game 7’s are hard to predict.

I’m willing to bet the Leafs look exactly the same tonight out of the gates as they did the last couple games.

Defense and goaltending wins these games, which tend to be tightly checked. Huge edge to Montreal here, as Toronto's only remaining defenseman who can actually play defense is Brodie, who is babysitting one of the biggest liabilities on the planet in Rielly. Toronto's a mentally fragile team and all the pressure is on them.

Leafs are playing with fire having this go seven games. They have the better team, the better depth but this is one game. Lucky bounce, lucky bounce there, Price entering God mode. All those things can end the Leafs season.

If the Leafs lose tonight, they are chokers.
I said come the playoffs you don't know what you will get.
I will know, being out in the 1st round.

I also don't know what the path forward will be.
Marner and Matthews, better be injured.

We have historical number in our favour.
7-1 in home game 7's, 94% of all game 7's go to the home team.
We don't have the momentum though.

The Habs didn't beat the Leafs, the Leafs beat the Leafs.
