I would say neither player has a particularly big impact on the game when they aren't putting up points. The difference is one of them is putting up points right now while the other is not.

Not for nothing but it's not like Jesper Fast is lighting it up on Panarin's line. Strome is definitely getting a bump but the Rangers have too many other holes to fill to go messing with something that's clearly working.

I dispute that. The scrubs we’ve seen play with Crosby, Malkin, McDavid, etc over the years rarely put up really strong offensive years. Usually it’s like Chiasson last year, who got 22 goals and 38 points.
Or, as has been pointed out, Fast this year.

How many points do Panarin and Strome have if they had a scoring winger with them. Most times teams are doing double coverage on the puck handler and leaving Fast on his own, having even Buchnevich on that line would open up space for both.

Agree. I mentioned on the last page that the Rangers priorities should include finding a proper RW for Panarin-Strome.

As I said before our top 6 isnt near complete and with Kreider out it's got serious holes in it at 1st line LW, 1st line RW, 2nd line RW and we could use a better 3rd line LW to play with Chytil and Kakko. Adding a top line RW would change a lot of that because it would drop Buch to 2nd line, Fast to 3rd line.

I'd move Strome to RW and look for a big bodied center to play with them who can handle some of the defensive match-ups a bit better. Someone like a younger Jordan Staal

lol, still baffles me why they give a player 7 years. I have a 12 year old in 6th grade elementary and when he’s in college Kreider will still be here.

Yep, the Rangers have some flexibility with Strome. The more I think about it the easier I am about letting Fast walk at the end of the season. There's just no spot for him with Kakko needing the third line reps.

I think Kreider benefits much like Strome does from playing with our best players is my point but nobody ever mentions that.

Hajek will need to play games if he's going to be exposed. Have to satisfy the 40/70 rule and he has only played 28 games this year. So, 40 next year or a total of 42 between this year and next.
