Im sure they are motivated to get him but not at the price we want. My guess is that Gorton is demanding one of their top 3 prospects which right now they say is untouchable especially for a rental. Honestly that’s the only way I would be ok with getting rid of him. If Gorton can somehow do that I would give him all the credit in the world but I feel it’s unlikely

Well if we were in Colorado’s shoes we would probably feel the same. They want to win but they are set up pretty well now and in the future so giving up a bigtime prospect along with a 1st for a rental they have no shot at resigned is probably way too risky

Jeese we need to lower the expectations. That package gets you a hell of a lot more than Kreider. Isles probably dont even do a 1st and Wahlstrom for Kreider

That’s why they wont pay a kings ransom for a rental. I know people think we are gonna get a shitload for CK but that’s not reality. The reality is a very late first and maybe a decent prospect /bottom 6 player
