Drury does this all day. STL wouldn’t pay that much tho. Does Buch get us Newhook straight up?that seems like a lot for Buch. I'd be thrilled though.

I would pull the trigger on that. Don't think the Blues would add their first...maybe their second?
Just checked they don't have their second this year.
overlooked #17 as well, yeah I dont think they do all 3.. I thought it was just Thomas and Sanford.
Lmao Zibanejad, Kakko, and 15??? And Minny just gives up Rossi? What in the world
Safe to say he isn't being traded....
Well they were crying over Kravtsov, Schneider, 15 and one of Buch or Chytil when I looked earlier
Buch may be a bit different. Starting to peak or at least at his peak and his age (pretty young). He should bring back a decent return. we shall see.I am cautiously optimistic about a Buch trade though. Getting strange flashbacks to Nash for Tolvanen, Stepan for Dylan Strome, McDonagh for Sergachev. The list of overestimated value goes on and on...
Man the USA is really producing some amazing blue liners lately!Dman means Da Man in that regard, right?![]()
They are really going to cry when they don't even get near that.
Or, we will really be crying.
Robert Thomas would be an excellent starting point.
From Nashville, Phil Tomasino would be an excellent starting point.
There’s a lot of smoke here.
Not sure, but the only interesting targets from the Blues are those two. Kyrou took a huge step last season and got bumped to 1RW with ROR. Thomas had an iffy year, but has the better track record and some playoff history. I’d be thrilled with either.Love Kyrou, but would STL really move him?
STL also has a very strong asset in that Russian forward they drafted 1-2 years ago. His name escapes me now. But not sure if he fits into our plans. He was mentioned in relation to Puljujarvi a while back too.
I’d rather have Kyrou. Thomas can play C yes but he’s just a younger Ryan Strome. Playmaking, pass-first type. Kyrou is a speedy goal scorer which we lackKyrou would be great, but I don't see it.
I think Thomas is for sure attainable though.
We gotta move on from Mika - if we use Buch, Strome, 15oa, Jones, Georgiev correctly we should be able to get 2 really good up and coming Cs - add that to Chytil/Barron/Goodrow we’ll find the right mix next year and be able to pay everyone through Miller and Lafs expiries.8 years 10m incoming
Point for McDonagh. Talbot for Draisaitl and Nurse.I am cautiously optimistic about a Buch trade though.

Thomas plays with more effort than Ryan Strome ever has in his NHL career. they are both pass first but that's about where it ends.I’d rather have Kyrou. Thomas can play C yes but he’s just a younger Ryan Strome. Playmaking, pass-first type. Kyrou is a speedy goal scorer which we lack
Doubt the Rangers are interested. Kadri has less self control than Charlie Sheen. That’s not the Rangers m-o.would anyone be interested in a Kadri

i'd take a gamble on him.
Thomas actually has a great shotThomas plays with more effort than Ryan Strome ever has in his NHL career. they are both pass first but that's about where it ends.
What's worrying to me is if Buchnevich is getting heavily rumored with some west coast team, like LAK or STL, then it gives me the vibe that Drury is gonna move Strome+Kakko in the Eichel deal. And I really hope Kakko doesn't get moved, there has to be a way we can get Jack without giving up Kakko
Absolutely nailed it here. Tomasino was one of my favorites from the 2019 draft, and was an absolute machine on a loaded Chicago Wolves team last year. He scored 32 points in 29 games as a 19 year old in the AHL! He’s also a phenomenal skater and has potential to be a center down the line, though it’s more likely he plays wing.
