Would Coleman be Fedotenko or is that Goodrow?

When does Richard... I mean Point become a UFA?

I see Barron and Goodrow on the same line.

I'd grab Zack MacEwen from the Canucks for the last wing spot and call it a day . Gives Cuyle another year to cook at a lower level. Gallant is familiar with MacEwen...both PEI residents in the Summers . MacEwen is big and willing and has one year left on his deal and is expansion eligible making about 850,000 . He would go through a wall for Gallant .

Strome makes a ton of sense for Ottawa and always has. He's exactly the kind of transitional player they could use. Sign him for 4 or 5 years and as your core overtakes him he becomes a useful trade asset towards the end of his deal.

I know a lot of people see Goodrow coming in as the death knell for Buch, but if I was running the ship, the trade off I’d be considering is Strome or Buch. They will occupy approximately the same percentage of the cap. I keep Buch, even though we are so deep at wing, because he brings more to the table than Strome.

Panarin is good enough to produce with anybody. Minimize the cost of the Panarin line while also rounding it out a bit.

Strome has got to go.

Never has been.

Both of them gone this offseason IMO for reasons completely independent of Goodrow. Moving Strome now is just a smart move in terms of maximizing the value of the player. Its a bit more complicated with Buch, but everything just seems to be pointing towards him being moved as well.

If Eichel comes in, hes 100% goe.

How much would Kadri cost? Wonder if Colorado would move him

He's done a lot of questionable things but he's the exact player we need. Also is clutch in the playoffs

Kadri is a loose cannon that will crush your toes sooner or later, as the Avs found out (AGAIN).

Strome and Kadri are in the same category of good players for non-contending teams but serious teams need much more reliable stuff.

I know people don’t watch to move Buchnevich but the way things are breaking it’s working out well for the Rangers

Lot of teams are looking for top 6 forwards and Buch’s value has never been higher

They’ll get a good return assuming he goes
. Agreed. As much as I like Buch I don’t see a future here with him up for a bigger contract and the young forwards we have

I’m out on Coleman. Like the player but I don’t want to be locked into another sizable UFA winger contract.

The Goodrow contract is fine but I’m not looking to go on a spending spree

Apparently they do not have enough money available to sign him
if they actually go after jones than it would be a real crunch, unless they can offload some salary in a deal if they move klingberg. his name has been out there if they land jones.

I agree that the next 7 days leading up to free agency are going to be some of the most active we've seen in the past several off-seasons. This is going to be a fun summer to be a hockey fan.
