I don't.

If we're dolling out that type of cap hit I rather get a Sundqvist
It's 1.8, see if you can swap him for say lesychyn w Detroit keeping part of zadinas cap. It could be a way for them to add another player if they think he can help their 4th line. Stevie is in a weird spot right now w the pressure from ownership.

Lets grab a young forward that is inconsistent. Already have Lafy and Kakko. He is a Kravtsov level of bust. Just not good enough for the NHL.
If that's true then it's no harm to give him a run. We have a spot on 3rd line that could see him w talented players. If it doesn't work then waive him

Othmann should be in the AHL until New Year's. Rushing him would be stupidity. Cuylle will break in on the 4th line when it happens and he will work his way up. I'm just looking at options to get vesey out of the top 9 and onto the 4th line where he should be. He's a guy who can slide into the top 9 when needed (injuries), he's not a guy that should be counted on for top 9 mins out of the gate.

If we're throwing money away, give Nolan Patrick 2 years- league minimum and see if the brains in New York can fix him
You need to be more specific, by brains in NY do you mean the NYR organization or the neuro teams at some of the top hospitals?:sarcasm:

Unfortunately Goodrow will be in the top 9 bc of the $ he makes. Most likely 3rd line winger.

I really don't know where Carolina is getting all this space to add Tarasenko.

Unless he is coming in under 4M, it's a real squeeze, and they still have Coghlan to sign as an RFA.

Someone else has to be on their way out of there. Wouldn't shock me if they move Skjei.

Saw this one coming

With no space are they trading Teurveinen?

Yeah Carolina probably should have did this at the TDL. Anyway, sucks he stays in the division. Was a pipedream that we would be able to afford him nor should we if the term is more than 2-3 years.

Tarasenko is not gonna fit there.

That is not a dude who skates 900MPH frantically.

Either gonna not work or maybe Carolina is changing up their style.

They're also gonna need to shed 3M off the roster somehow.
