Kreiders season is by no means bad, but far from last years all star play
The Big intangible will be Igor’s play.
If he can rekindle his magic, been pretty good as of late.,The team can go very far.
But now we see what happens when reality meets theory, in the playoffs where nothing else matters excepts for “what have you done for me lately?”

2023 Panarin = 2022 Panarin

I actually think he will be a lot better this year. In addition to an injury he was dealing with he was really upset about his performance last playoffs, even with that game 7 winner. I actually think youll see Bread manage the puck better and even throw the body around (we've already seen more of that in his game).

2023 Panarin > 2022 Panarin

Wayyyyyyyy better this year.

2022 Panarin was awful for most of the season. His game flipped a bit once Copp was Acquired but he blew for the large majority of the season despite having a good stat line. Kreider's PP god work kept him above a PPG the first half of the season.

Wow over the past two seasons Fox has 1 PP goal. That's really bad lol. Goodrow, Kakko, Lundqvist have just as many and Trouba has more lol.

I think Kreider's huge drop in PPG is force feeding Mika and overpassing. If Fox actually shot then both him and Kreider would have more goals. But overall I'd say he's still the same player. Scoring more 5v5 I think.

This was Panarin's best season since 19-20.

90+points but he also f***ed around and became a plus defender because he remembered that he's just really good at hockey.

Kreider attempted 23.0 shots/60 at 5v4 last year and is attempting 24.2 this year. You think his huge drop is that he's overpassing, despite shooting more, and not that he went from shooting 38% to 12%?

His huge drop is because he isnt getting every single deflection into the back of the net.. and frankly i think he he actually deflecting less pucks in general this year.

No he has sucked at tip ins this year. What’s his career average on PP

I think Fox keeps the zone better than any other of our D. It’d be great if he scored goals too, but that’s just not how our PP runs.

Here's little perspective that might raise some eyebrows:

Player A

326 career games as a Ranger 64G 74A 138 Points

Player B

320 career games as a Ranger 61G 54A 115 Points

Who am I?

I'd say aside from the injury 2023 lindgren has been significantly better than 2022 lindgren.
Saying Geo and halak are equal is a huge compliment to halak.
But overall mostly agree.

I don't know. Who?

Ha! Though Chytil started on NYR as an 18YO, and Sick Jimmy was 22...
Exactly. Compare age 22+23 seasons, and its
140gp 30g 37A 67pts for chytil
159gp 32g 22a 55PTS for vesey

Chytil outscores him in less games significantly, and almost out goals him in 19 less games.
And they averaged almost the exact same amount of ice time

And on further look. Chytil actually does have more ES goals.

Fox should DEFINITELY be red

Trouba has been better as of late but he was better in 2022.

Panarin is way better in 2023.

Zibs has been way better in 2023 imo.

Regular Season means little to nothing at the end of the day. You could be Scott Brosius in the regular season but if you're pulling magic out of your ass in the postseason, that's what you'd be remembered for.
