Harpur should be setting the record for most TOI in a regular season game in the game against Toronto. Schneids should be second.
Game 1 is either Monday or Tuesday... That's more than enough time off. There's no need for him to sit completely or play 'not to get hurt'. Definitely take Fox off the PK.

I mean its game 82 for both us and toronto. We're both in the exact same scenario, we've both clinched, we can't move up, they can't move up.
Neither team should be doing anything to risk tempers flaring.
Some guys like lindgren and bunting are going to probably still go full bore but other than that I think both sides will throttle it back a bit.

Tomorrow's game I expect to lack energy. Both teams are locked into their spots, so what's the point of risking injury. Like I said before, we would rest guys if we could but cannot, due to the cap.

I dont even know that I'd rest guys at this point. Theres a fairly big gap between tonight and monday/tuesday, considering they've been playing with at most 2 days off since feb.
The rest period will let kane get a shot in his hip, and everyone else to heal up slightly and start the playoffs healthy.

Id rather guys play tomorrow than have them go away between games into the playoffs.

I would not be shocked though if they rest Kane, and go 11F/7D tomorrow.

If they fall to the Devils in the first round i may need to hop a flight to a thrid world country and live out the rest of my days there.
Move here to TN. I've seen 1 Islander hat and zero NJ paraphernalia in over 8 years.

Lots of unsolicited conversations when I'm tooling around COSTCO in my Ranger jersey though.

Just get Harpur in there and rest the guy who truly needs the rest the most even if that's a guy like Kreider. Play Ben Harpur top 6 LW don't care.

I'd Kovalev the fk outta him.

3 min shifts and all the PP and PK time that he can eat, short of cardiac arrest. If Mika or Fox take a deflection to the dome, I'm gonna snap

A skate at Central Park will have more physical play than tomorrow's game.

great but as a senior those numbers don't scream NHL player.
Stats never tell the whole story. Didn’t Brian Boyle have good college stats considered a power forward type in his draft year, and yet only became a 4th line center good on faceoffs in the NHL.

Apparently Jayden Grubbe isn't gonna be signing here and he's now available if someone wanted to trade for him.
