I don't think so. We would lose our 1st but retain our 2nd.If we win the second round this year we will not have a pick until the 4th round. Pretty interesting
You are correct. Read that incorrectly on Cap FriendlyI don't think so. We would lose our 1st but retain our 2nd.
There is no chance that Crosby would come here. Would ruin his legacy with the Pens.![]()
Report: Penguins Offered Low-Ball Contracts to Kris Letang, Evgeni Malkin
The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly already made Kris Letang and Evgeni Malkin offers.www.si.com
I don't care about the past get me Sidney for 2-1sts and something...we compete for the next 3yrs with 20-8-10 and Crosby then regroup. New ownership group has no loyalty to anyone on Pens.
How exactly do they fit that under the cap? Lobby Bettman for a special Rangers exemption?![]()

Its either stay for rebuild without 71 and 59 or seek greener pasturesThere is no chance that Crosby would come here. Would ruin his legacy with the Pens.
Brian Burke would talk about this when he was with Sportsnet in Toronto. Made it sound like even back then it was a known that Matthews would leave once his deal is up. Mentioned the Ontario taxes.Auston Matthews contract expires in 2 seasons. People are getting nervous about Matthews looking to bolt TO. Chris Johnston of TSN/Toronto Star discussed the topic on his podcast.
I've always expected him to go to Arizona if they have anything approaching a competitive hockey team by thenAuston Matthews contract expires in 2 seasons. People are getting nervous about Matthews looking to bolt TO. Chris Johnston of TSN/Toronto Star discussed the topic on his podcast.

Time for Drury to monetize some of the players on the fringe of the roster.

Schneider's struggles? Stop nitpicking about every bad mistake and bad shift. He doesn't 21 until this September.Who did you have in mind?
Can't imagine Hunt or Reaves would fetch much of a return. Georgiev has zero value since he could be signed for less than his QO. Nemeth we'd be lucky to break even.
Lundkvist and Kravtsov seem the obvious choices, but with Schneider's struggles of late it might be early to write off Nils.

Are the Rangers playing three small D next season? Fox, Lundkvist and Jones.
Not looking to start an argument but teams with big D win. It's not a complicated formula. TB might win again. They have a great goalie and very good forwards. They have a big and tall group of D. That group of D makes Vasilevskiy's much easier. If they don't win this season, a major reason is TB has played so much hockey in the last 7-8 seasons. How much is left in the gas tank?
I'm not sure about Lindgren but I'm fine with the rest of this list.Offseason to do list is pretty straightforward imo
1. Dump Nemeth to a team who will take him or hope he retires
2. Thank him for his service and let Strome walk
3. Re-sign Copp & Motte
4. Bridge Kakko & QO Blais
5. Sign Charlie Lindgren to backup Igor
It works with the cap. Let this team continue to mature together and we will contend for a Cup.
Schneider should be playing more if anything.
