Even young players around the league like Jack Hughes who had a big showing tonight asked a woman to flash him her breasts mere months after he was drafted at the age of 18. When was the last time Chris Kreider asked a woman to flash him her breasts? We need red blooded Americans. We have a lot of real quality humans on the team but we lack assertive attitudes and personality to lead us through the ice and the fire. Someone who isn't afraid of tipping 5% when the service just wasn't that good. Someone like Henrik who had the best hair and looks in the league on just a $20 barber shop hair cut he stumbled into one day. The personalities are too mild in the room. No one to flip the script by grabbing the game of hockey by the neck. We had two psychos on the team last year but both were exiled. The top of our leadership group and of our core needs more Laffy's cockiness and Kaapo's no nonsense this is mine and I'm going to take it attitude.

If Crosby wants to get married there are plenty of states now that can accommodate him, so don’t use hockey as an excuse.

Few questions--was it late in your NHL 22 season ? No neck injury for Eichel and he made up with Buffalo ?

Now there no chance of him coming to the Rangers because he still playing on Buffalo in NHL 22.

It was my second game of the season and he was somehow healthy! To be fair I was Arizona, but my goalie was Blackwood. My backup goalie got a shutout the game before, I might try to move Blackwood for Shesterkin if he keeps this up

What is Panarin’s excuse?

When Gallant stressed so much that everyone had shown up in phenomenal shape for camp, I knew he was covering for a player or two and that it was a move to show that the public trashing of players to make the coach look good was a thing of the past.

Panarin is so gassed after long shifts and late in games. Torts said that Panarin was by far the best player — when tired — he ever coached. But fresh Panarin is still a lot better than gassed Panarin.

Kravtsov was in the gym practically everyday this summer on his IG stories, up at 6AM in the gym even when on vacation in the Dominican. That narrative seems like BS or Drury just being his usual prick self

Hunt is a good as a depth forward. Looks better than Gauthier recently.. Gauthier is awful. I’d drop McKegg. He is not as useful as he used to be. Why is he back? It’s a shame Kravtsov requested a trade.

I’ve been rooting for Gauthier but I watched him float up and down the ice on Thursday and not make one damn statement play. Not one.

I watched Hunt play a lot last year and he is a real good bottom six forward. Better than people here realize.

The Gauthier experience is going to come to end soon unless things start to change.

I watched Hunt play a lot last year and he is a real good bottom six forward. Better than people here realize.

The Gauthier experience is going to come to end soon unless things start to change.

I agree. I would like to see Hunt in a PK role kinda what happened when Prust came here. I feel he will be a fan favorite soon. He is better than Gauthier who is really an AHL player at best but on the NHL roster due to his 1st round draft status, and should be captain of Hartford meaning he won’t see the NHL because he is not an NHL player at all.

Also, while Tob's post was a bit hyperbolic, I can't really disagree with him except for maybe Trouba being in that list. To make it worse Quinn decimated any little bit of swagger the young kids did have. I think Goodrow, Blaise and Reeves will help a bit in that respect, but damn did we have to overpay for it.

I agree with what @Tob is saying. Trouba is the type of guy who he may speak up in the locker room but Fox and Lindgren will be giggling in the corner not taking him seriously.
It's only two games and I still think we'll be fine, but still need someone with the stones Tob is talking about.

I agree. He has all the tools but nothing between the ears. He can be a Kreider or Tuch, size, speed, skill. His issues are he lacks intelligence and he’s very soft. You’re 6’4 220 and built like a house but you float like Krapsoft out there.

I don't think he can be a Kreider or Tuch, he doesn't have much of a toolset outside of being able to skate down the wing and take the puck to the net. That has value but he's a limited player. I like him but he's never going to be a big scorer.

Trouba, Panarin, Strome, Kreider, Zibanejad are all betas. Nice guys that'd apologize to you when you bump into them and spill their coffee. Can't win with that. No wonder why Gallant couldn't find a Captain. Then we have a nice guy like Gallant as well. Vigneault might have been a jerk and Torts a hot head but they had guts. We have a bunch of stars that forced their way to NY and want the good life and the big contracts and no one to be a winner on the ice regardless of the goal scoring or point production. We need Laf and Kakko to take over the leadership on this team. They have some attitude and cockiness. They've already shown it. Embarrassing we still threw Panarin-Strome and Kreider-Zibanejad out there for OT. The time to win is when Laf and Kakko take over leadership of this team and Gallant needs to step aside and let them do that.
