They sub in Johnston for one of those guys and sub in Wahlstrom for anyone in the top-9. That's Gauthier's role for now, subbing in to the top-9 at RW, which then moves someone like Goodrow, Kreider or Blais over to LW if needed depending on who he is filling in for.

You are overselling Gaut big time. He really is nothing more than a 4th liner. He has no brain for the game

People love to talk about Kravtsov’s ego but seem to gloss over the fact that Drury is a dictator with an ego so fragile he has to exercise his authority by any means necessary even when it results in the loss of top assets. I wonder what it will take for people to finally realize the problem is him rather than every young player?

What top prospect on the planet doesn’t? Especially when they get sent down in favor of 4th line scrubs? Kravtsov is also the best English speaking Russian in hockey. He has gorgeous dirty blonde locks that flow in the wind as he skates. He would’ve made hockey more popular and been the most marketable player in the league.

HFNYR, I think it's time for us to start a gofundme to help poor Jovo get the therapy that he needs. This separation from the love of his life is not going well. I'm just praying that another young Russian stud comes along to sweep him off his feet before it's too late.

No need for a gofundme for him. You all play into it, and he gets all the attention he craves. It’s his pattern…every year.

I can't take anymore Gauthier, the guy needs to become something, anything, a scorer, a shut down specialist, pp specialist, pk specialist, hitter, anything, just gimme one thing. Cutting wide and then driving the net only to either lose the puck or plant one into the pads isn't doing it for me. I dont know how in the world he's playing and Kravtsov and Barron aren't, or Pajuniemi for that matter, atleast he has a canon.

Paju won’t be an nhl player until he ceases to get blown over in a stiff breeze.

The shot can only get you so far- see: Brandon Pirri and Greg Carey. Two of the best shooters I’ve seen.

From everything that just went down with a Krav, it doesn’t surprise me that they are delaying his call up. He’s obviously better then McKegg.
What happens if Barron comes up and plays great for 4-5 games while Strome is out.
Strome comes back and now you have potentially created another kravtsov situation with a pissed off barron who doesn’t really want to go back to the AHL.
Barron and Kravy are on opposite ends of the spectrum character wise imo, but this isn’t a time where drury feels like rocking the boat right now.
If this happened in a month or so, I think Barron would have got the call up
