Where do you read that I’m upset? I said it’s ridiculous and it is.Again, why are people so upset about who gets letters and who doesn't?
its worked well for him in the past?
Pretty sure every other team he's coached has named a captain, and he led off the pre-season saying it was very important to have a captain. This is some impressive spin by him.
I legit think the players all know its going to someone like laf, and dont want any hard feelings when he's ready to take it. They then left it to gallant to spin it.
Don’t think Vegas had a C right?
Ah fair enough, I thought karlsson was named captain early.Don’t think Vegas had a C right?
stone wasnt on gallant's knights.mark stone....
rangers, kraken, sens, blue jackets, coyotes, sabres and flames don't have captains currently...i guess habs too since weber isn't expected to play
I’ll say it again. Heavy lineup for a heavy opponent. Not a big deal or crazy unusual
after this team got bodied physically in an embarrassing fashion like 1/4 of the games last year I find it sort of amazing people are upset over actually utilizing a fairly flexible roster in one of its possible configurations. but muh first round picks.
Oh yeah, I agree. It's not a big deal icing this lineup for this game. Now that these players are here, might as well use them.
But spare me the "we didn't do this to counter Tom Wilson," bit.
Yes we most certainly did.
6 alternates? Doesn't that seem, excessive....
Jovo gonna lose his shit
BTW, am I the only one that is so f***ing upset at this team naming 6 alternate captains???
No Kravtsov, no Lundkvist.
Yeah, Tom Wilson isn't in our heads at all. This is all just about icing the best team.
I don't want to ever hear anyone say that ever again.
Why do I count 25 players on the roster, don’t they have to get to 23? So Kravtsov and Barron go down before 5pm right, or is it 23 skaters and 2 goalies now?
What did Gallant not see in this group? He talked a few times about how important a C was and even alluded to it a few nights ago after a game.
I’m have probably been one of the most outspoken on here when it comes for the rangers to add Grit/physical play and a identity this offseason, and have applauded drurys moves in adding guys with those qualities and experience.I like it.
