I’m sure Amirov is a terrific two way player but if we pick 10th and take him I’m gonna flip out. Neighbors with the 20’s Skjei pick is fine with me albeit Reichel would be perfect if he’s still around.

So we either pick 1st, 10th, or 11th. And then whatever carolina or toronto get knocked out.

I think this is the complete range of outcomes.

TBH I wouldn't that mad if we drafted Askarov with a 10-12 pick. Depending on whats available.

Having good and cheap goaltending helps

Guys. I have not heard anything concrete about Guhle from legit sources. It is what I expect to happen. But the pirate talk is entirely another thing - which I have heard.
So, in other words, as regards the draft talk, @BBKers is simply just as scarred as the rest of us by the McIlrath pick. :)

But the idea Hank will play next year in Sweden — one way or another — has substance.

Lundell has the skill set that makes you think there might be more offensive upside there than he's shown so far. Lias never really had that. He was always more of an opportunistic scorer than someone who had offensive skill to develop.

This may be misread as "Lundell hasn't shown a lot of offense" but that's not the case. Lundell is 6th since 2000 in Liiga among players in their draft year in P/GP. He's an elite passer and great defensively on top of his offense. I think him missing the WJC because of injury sees him drop which would just show GMs are idiots
