it would make sense. Laviolette ran them into the ground last year playing every game like a playoff game to get the Presidents Trophy and make himself look good. i wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these players are still feeling the effects of last season now.

Just watched a few of the goals. The Rangers have numbers. Sometimes 4 against 2 but nobody is making a play. They are watching the puck. No hitting. No stick checking. Just watching. They look very confused. I'm confused watching it. Something is going on but I have no idea what nor how to fix it. Its like they are playing against kids and afraid to hit or play hard. Never seen a full team go in to a confidence and energy crisis like this before. There are few if any players on this team that are above the issues. If I was the coach I would ask Vinny, Schneider, and Quick in to separate meetings. Tell all 3 nothing they say will ever leave this meeting. Ask all 3 what the heck is going on. Then go from there.
