So my take on this is Drury had a trade in place in the offseason and Trouba used his clause(which was within in right) to nix it. Drury probably thought he would see how it played out this season and obviously Trouba(amongst many others) look checked out so now Drury is reacting

Drury isnt a savior, but I am glad he's trying to salvage something this season because the players look like they couldnt care less

A team has a claim ready to go...

That team got the Golden Ticket as far as I'm concerned

Well that’s an attempt at changing the room.

Can’t be the only thing.

This is just the start imo. Get the team back to cruising altitude then reassess. Igor, Lindgren, Kakko, Miller shouldnt feel safe imo. Contract demands and Drury now has cap flexibility to add guys who fit what he wants to do. He hasnt been the best GM but at no point has he had any flexibility to make moves.

You know… the more i think about this. The more i hope we just waive him.

I am scared shitless at what a trade looks like. Drury giving up multiple firsts to rid him?

We all know Drury cant make a trade.

Im having Nemeth flashbacks.

Trouba only has negative worth in this forum, with some retainment he has value for a lot of teams trying to add physicality to their lineup.

i think of Drury as doing well in most trades.

The Nemeth trade was expensive because we wanted that D. Who we lost to waivers later.
