And with this, I can now share what I know.

And before we get questions about me coming in "after the fact" I purposefully told a handful of people so that they could confirm when I was able to share (I do this as a safeguard for those who still think I am pulling shit out of my ass):

ADA has been increasingly vocal in the locker room about certain race and social issues and supposedly been making those comments very well know.

He has also not been quiet about some of the changes in this country over the last few months and weeks.

For the most part, there’s an understanding that what you do on your own time is your own business. But ADA has apparently been taking his cues from the more active factions in the world and it is bleeding into the locker room.

This includes going out of his way to make comments that he doesn’t think there’s a big racial problem in the nation, recent events being fake news, etc.

That might not be a huge issue, save for the fact that he’s the one who keeps mentioning. Requests to get him to knock it off have not gone well. The leadership of this team, namely Trouba has taken him aside and told him to leave that stuff at the door and not let it become a distraction.

The other night, he went after Georgiev, got in his face, pinned him to the wall and then tried to choke him. Trouba and Miller stepped into separate them, and then ADA turned on them. Trouba basically bear hugged him and dragged him into the locker room by his jersey. What happened behind closed doors is unknown to me at this time. ADA also told "Miller to go f*** himself" among some other choice comments.

The other night was the final straw with someone who many believe cannot separate the politics and hit button issues from the locker room, views himself as having “made it”, and has really just not done a good job of controlling himself or conducting himself in a proper manner.

Now that it is leading to physical confrontations, the Rangers are basically done with him.

So NOW you know most of what I do.

Beyond appreciative for this and all of the other info you've shared here.

So add that to edge’s comment that he then went after the guys who broke up the fight.
If Miller broke it up and then he went after Miller, who I’m sure the rangers see as a massive part of the future, absolutely no hesitation he’s gone.

Yes, he then turned on Miller and Trouba. Now, all of this took place in a span of 30 seconds or less, before they made it into the locker room.

It's the alienating himself part that is doing Tony in.

Now, it's not really a secret that three of the guys in the incident have polar opposite world views from Tony. But the issue has been Tony's constant comments and bringing things.

Literally, an emerging inability to control himself and realize that his teammates are there to play hockey, not debate with him.

Certainly fits my theory that part of his views is he's just instigating these conversations as an excuse to get a rise out of people and start fights/arguments.

That's the behavior of a young teenager, not a 25 year old man. Good lord even Dubinsky grew up by then.

At a certain point he's just trying to get a rise out of people and living off the negative energy.

Trouba shoulda beat his ass

Thanks Edge, this hopefully puts aside the speculation that for some reason Georgiev hit him first

Now I don't know for sure who threw the first punch.

I know the incident was instigated and escalated by ADA.

But I couldn't tell you if Georgiev punched him first, or punched him if he thought ADA was going to attack him, or punched after ADA pinned him to the wall and tried choking him.

KAM's agent would most likely defer to the team, or say we don't have any additional information to add at this time.

Typically, but not always, the approach is to not have to contradict an earlier statement. So a definitive yes or a definitive no would either be uncharacteristic, or pretty sloppy on his agent's part.
Thank you for this common sense. Thank you.

yup you dont need that. Its ok to disagree but u need to be cognizant of others and when it becomes a distraction to teammates.

geez, what a monday morning QB . . . kidding lol.

Very disturbing antics. Sports is really a place i would think all world distractions get put aside. Regardless, the issues on this club go beyond Tony as it appears a lot boiled over vs Pitt. It’s not yet all rainbows and unicorns with him out.

thanks for sharing.

Can confirm that I'm one of the folks that @Edge told. I knew all this yesterday afternoon.

(And FWIW, this is why I've been cautioning people not to accept or deny the puck thing. I frankly have no idea if that specific incident happened and I don't care. But I knew from Edge that Tony's behavior/commentary as regards racial issues was part of the problem and he shouldn't be given a pass on that aspect, whether or not Herman "extrapolated" his story from the facts.)

So, if he choked Georgie surely that's grounds for contract termination? Has to be, right??
That’s a cba question. The PA may be forced to defend this and they may view it as a no win situation and tell him to not fight it if the details are kept quiet.

Has anyone said that Georgiev threw the first punch? I haven't seen that reported anywhere.

Starting to come together..Wise ass remark by ADA to Georgiev..then scuffle..then Trouba and Kandre break it up..ADA continues to escalate in the locker room. Words between players and then a tussle not uncommon..BUT ADA doesn't let up..along with his past skirmishes forces team to put on waivers. If I was part of management I would have and conducted a team meeting Sunday with all present and get some more info then move forward using the meeting as additional info to come to a conclusion that solves all the continuing issues of what to do with ADA if he clears waviers etc
