And with this, I can now share what I know.

And before we get questions about me coming in "after the fact" I purposefully told a handful of people so that they could confirm when I was able to share (I do this as a safeguard for those who still think I am pulling shit out of my ass):

ADA has been increasingly vocal in the locker room about certain race and social issues and supposedly been making those comments very well known.

He has also not been quiet about some of the changes in this country over the last few months and weeks.

For the most part, there’s an understanding that what you do on your own time is your own business. But ADA has apparently been taking his cues from the more active factions in the world and it is bleeding into the locker room.

This includes going out of his way to make comments that he doesn’t think there’s a big racial problem in the nation, recent events being fake news, etc.

That might not be a huge issue, save for the fact that he’s the one who keeps mentioning. Requests to get him to knock it off have not gone well. The leadership of this team, namely Trouba has taken him aside and told him to leave that stuff at the door and not let it become a distraction.

The other night, he went after Georgiev, got in his face, pinned him to the wall and then tried to choke him. Trouba and Miller stepped into separate them, and then ADA turned on them. Trouba basically bear hugged him and dragged him into the locker room by his jersey. What happened behind closed doors is unknown to me at this time. ADA also told "Miller to go f*** himself" among some other choice comments.

The other night was the final straw with someone who many believe cannot separate the politics and hit button issues from the locker room, views himself as having “made it”, and has really just not done a good job of controlling himself or conducting himself in a proper manner.

Now that it is leading to physical confrontations, the Rangers are basically done with him.

So NOW you know most of what I do.

The season just began recently it is hard to believe that ADA could have that quickly gotten on everybody's nerves.

Why would ADA try to choke Georgiev? makes no sense.

Hard to believe that ADA would be that stupid and if he was then the management should have made him seek professional help, this seems like an addition to politics or something along those lines.

Re: Bennett - Maybe?

Re:mPreference - I don’t know at this time. It could be situation where beggars can’t be choosers.
yeah, i was thinking a one-for-one for Bennett with us retaining 1/2 salary. ADA bombed his value so we are definitely going to take less than what we've expected over the summer. Getting a roster player like Bennett is probably a great return for him at this point.

I think we trade TDA and don't end up eating any money. That's all I'll say.

It’s entirely possible that a team will take him at a full hit as long as we take back comparable salary.

There’s a deal out there that makes sense. I’m very curious to see how this turn out. It’s a pretty unique situation.

Keep an eye on Calgary and Vegas, possibly Florida and Anaheim.

Bob did mention a Canadian team....

Its possible a team is interested in taking a chance on him at the $2.4 million price point rather than the $4.8 level.

Even @2.4M, numerous teams in the league would still have to send some kind of salary back.

Gorton likely has his offers. He’s probably debating if a trade make more sense than a buyout.

So sounds like Gorton blurted something dumb to ADA and then felt he had to keep his word and do what he promised he would do when he blurted his dumb threat. Complete idiot.

What a terrible human being and teammate. ADA fought guys twice his size for his teammates:

If I get an infraction, then so f***ing be it.

Has there been any mention in the media as to why Gauthier was a healthy scratch for so many games in a row? Tried for search for something last night and didn't find anything...

I think it was a pure balance issue. Gauthier is a PF, high forechecker. We just played a lot better with more complete players in the lineup. Guys like Gauthier per design need a lot of support when they play, in getting the puck up ice.

This is what is so hard with “playing physical”, you walk a really fine line. If you can’t get the puck up ice and get a step on a defender you won’t finish any hits.

I like TDA. I wish he wasn't an asshole that this is an issue we are discussing

But hes a one dimensional player with a big mouth.

Hes not worth the aggravation of having to put out fires that his big mouth starts.

The warning from JG was not isolated to just his reaction to getting benched, that was the linchpin for the warning. But the warning has been a longtime coming.

At some point, players like TDA, become more of a headache than its worth to deal with.

You can blame to coach, but the player has to take responsibility for not allowing his behavior to be coached out of him.

I had hoped that after last year he would recognize how much he could contribute to a winning team so long as he plays hockey and keeps his mouth shut.

You can look at the coach, GM, President.

This is 1000% on Tony and the sooner he realizes that, the sooner he can get back to being a halfway decent hockey player.

Until he takes inventory of his own issues, hes going to find himself on the outside of the NHL looking in.

I also can’t help to lol about the situation where Gorton steams to TDA and make it tremendously clear to him that no more BS will be accepted, and then in the next game TDA gets into a brawl with his teammates and all hell breaks out.

Another observation, we now know that this was an issue between the coach and TDA as per Gorton. Putting that in light with DQs comments, it shows just how much of a pure show everything that is said to the media is. DQ has talked about how he had good talks with TDA, how they had put it behind them and TDA understood why 1 game became 2 games, how it was really tough for everyone what happened etc etc etc.

I actually have zero issues with DQ downplaying things in the media. There is very rarely anything to gain in that. Just to be clear. But it’s obviously that a very rose

Guys, regarding Gauthier.

I'm not seeing what any of you are seeing regarding this player.

I doubt he's here next year and would not be surprised if he ends the season as a NYR.

Limited offensive ability, limited defensive ability. As big and strong as he is, gets knocked off the puck easily. Again, with his size and strength he should be imposing his physical will on opponents.

He is Khao
