So Gorton is going to buy ADA out now? That is an even bigger spit in the face of fans than just losing him to waivers.

How is it spitting in the face of fans, exactly?

If one thing is painfully clear, it’s that there is very little on-ice success. The team that looked like they were putting it together in February and March now looks like a bottom-of-the-league team.

Something is wrong. If taking care of something that’s bringing the team down behind the scenes starts to get things on the right track, that’s definitely not spitting in the faces of fans.

What are we owed exactly to begin with?

How do you know so much. Do you work for the Rangers in any capacity? Maybe you can't answer that, I guess.

How do people know you have inside info? Do you have a proven track record?

I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious :).
Players go on waivers at 12 noon and the waiver period lasts 24 hours. So, we knew coming into today that we'd find out about DeAngelo at 12 noon. It was reported by a number of people just a few minutes after 12.

I'm an HR Director for a labor union. I have no Rangers contacts, a couple on the periphery of the AHL, and that's it. I'm no insider.

If you want the inside scoop on things and all the breaking news, just get on Twitter and follow Vince Mercogliano, Rick Carpiniello, and Larry Brooks. Should be basically all you need. And read this place a lot. :)

I think someone will take him. It'll be the Rangers eating some of his deal and getting less than they'd hoped, but I think some team will trade for him. Some team with maybe an older room, perhaps more players who share Tony's worldview, and betting on the idea that he'll bounce back and learn from this shit show. If that doesn't work, he's an easy buyout for the new team in a few months.

Maybe Elite Prospects can include world view as a category in evaluating players for the draft..great speed, above average vision and he believes in a laissez faire economy

So one thing to look for is if they want to add a D in a trade there’s an open spot in expansion protection now .

The Rangers just doubled the amount of 3rd period goals that they have on the season. What dominance. Pure momentum train incoming. Love it

Most fans know that ADA is not what is wrong with this team, what is wrong is the coaching staff.

Rooney has been a pleasant surprise. I will gladly eat crow on my skepticism of him.

Brodzinski is terribad. But unfortunately Gauthier took a stupid penalty at the end of the game. I am ready to bring Barron up if it means not having to watch Brodzinski play hockey

Gauthier again showed why he is less than the sum of his parts. Brodzinski was useless.

Gauthier has the offensive ability. Its there. You saw glimpses of it again tonight. He was right there in the picture for the game tying goal.

But then he takes a needless penalty. Its frustrating.

I get it and agree. You can see it. It is tantalizing. But ultimately, in ALL of his games it never amounts to anything. Cubic zirconia.

I agree with the assessment so far but I’d like to see him given 16 minutes all on Panarin’s line just once before closing that book officially. He gets bounced around so much and doesn’t get much ice. Just once, let’s leave him with Panarin and Strome for a whole game. Heck, let’s leave all of our lines together for ONE full game. Might be shocked to see players actually start settling in in some cases. Who knows.

Absolutely no argument from me
