what on earth are you talking about? Who is defending stalinists? This is typical asinine whataboutism.

Know what our grandfathers did to white supremacists trying to own a seat at the worlds table? They kicked their teeth down their throats. No inclusion necessary. Try and remember that. If your opinion is that others don’t get to have the same rights you do then your opinion is no longer warranted.

He was waived, that is a consequence not a cancellation. If they could cancel his contract I'm sure they would have tried. Perhaps this is a step towards that which is now in his court.

I've held a pro ADA perspective since they traded for him, on ice I still do, off ice I am far from his perspective on life. Yet this is a grown adult who is super talented, could be one of the best offensive defenders in the league, if he can't figure it out so be it.

That is not to hold the Rangers blameless, they screwed up something here beyond just ADA. They suck and it's not just because of one player. Organizationally something seems wrong beyond just him.

I don’t think I’d say the presence of TDA made it harder for me to root for this team but I will sure as shit not miss him.

I couldn’t see most of the posts from people that defended him for...ulterior, non-hockey reasons anyway :)

and every viewpoint should be at the table. That's how society progresses. You debate and listen and move. If we went by your logic we still would be living by the rules of 2000 years ago or longer. BC then any viewpoint that wasn't accepted at the time wouldn't be debated.

Right and wrong are completely subjective by the morals of the time. It is all made up by whoever is in charge or whoever is trying to take charge.

200 years ago society could look back and laugh and say i cant believe we did xyz. That is morally reprehensible. Because society changes. Debate is good.

But it's not complicated.

We recently had somebody say something insensitive about K'Andre Miller and several people pointed it out to him. I won't say who it is, he can comment if he wants to. He said "oh I'm sorry" and deleted it. That was the end of it. He's not cancelled, everyone still likes him, and nobody thinks he's a racist.

When you die on the f***ing hill is when people take exception, which is what we've been doing all day.

I got news for you, folks: he's probably f***ing racist. If that surprises you, I don't know what to tell you. It's 100% his doing that people think that.

We’ll probably never know what actually happened with this because it would reflect awfully on the Rangers if it’s true

I still find it very odd they didn’t post a photo of Miller with his first goal puck.

that's the problem with today's media and peoples need for instant news. Nothing is vetted, because the media "needs" to be first to the scoop. So alot that is said is not totally factual.

They can't be real journalists because if you aren't first you are last and everybody else will get the likes, retweets etc.

That was really only my big pushback on it. I could care less about Deangelo's perception at this point. But I had a hard time just outright saying that the organization was harboring that kind of thing without it being taken care of.

Also, Adam Herman continues to suck.

So frustrating. This was one of the worst days on HF ever. Just so much bandwagon shit from racism to politics to pure speculation from posters who if nothing else should have learned one thing from HF. Never trust a source that isn’t vetted.

Blushirt Banter and Adam Herman are clearly unreliable sources. Now the question is. Will they apologize for posting lies to their followers, or will they continue to post with an agenda?
