As someone who has been a Tony supporter on PAST issues, I agree. I would like to know the details simply because there’s a difference between he’s a hot head with a temper who runs his mouth, rubs teammates abrasively and crosses lines is different than he’s flat out being a racist bully, but he clearly crossed a line and there isn’t much in this instance that can defend that. I just want the truth and details so we can say he did X instead of speculatively saying he did this and this and this and this and he’s a that and such.

I think players get paid by game. Therefore he isn't losing any money. The cap works per day, so this is purely a paper transaction to save a day of cap space.
I could be wrong though.

Absolutely. We need to recognize that intolerance has no place in the game and help to give voices to those who have been under-represented in the past. That is the responsibility of all organizations, sports or otherwise.

BR, we usually agree on a lot of things.
And while there is certainly merit to some of what you are saying here because the team did indeed waive him, my issue is the lengths some people out there are going to ruin this man. I have said it countless times already, if it comes out that Tony did something horrible then he deserves to face the music. I will be the first one to say gtfo. But until that comes out in some fashion, maybe its not the most detailed version, but it is summed up that he was causing issues with KAM or any and all of his teammates in such derogatory ways that are unforgivable, he gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

Tolerance doesn't mean you need to agree, but be able to openly discuss. You can't just shut things down as black and white. Him being a trump supporter does not make him a racist. Someone voting for biden doesn make them a communist. There is a lot of grey area in the world and the loss of all tolerance means there can be no debate and learning.
All you have now is one side shutting down all debate and saying you are wrong,,, na na na poo poo. And the good little sheeple just go on in their own little bubbles, talking to only those with their own viewpoints and becoming more intolerant and bitter every single day.

Racism and homophobia is not something that requires discourse. It's a right/wrong issue.

you are right. but when people start saying everything is racist, and literally just start making things up and distorting every fact to make it racist. That is also plainly wrong. People are fighting the BS that is going on in the country. And no there is alot there needs to be discussed in the country but people wont acknowledge the other side or even agree that it is complicated. They just see it as right/wrong black/white and no gray.
